General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint at some major moments in Port Charles during the week of September 29 to October 3, and a ton of casting news! Find out who’s ‘coming’ and who’s ‘going’ from the ABC soap over the next five days, below.
Welcome To Port Charles, Ronnie !
Soap icon Erika Slezak made her much-anticipated debut on the soap this past Friday, September 26, as Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) found her snooping around the Quartermaine crypt.
Fans know Slezak from her work on One Life to Live as Victoria Lord. It looks like Slezak will play the long-lost sister of Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson), Veronica Lard, and will be referred to as “Ronnie”.
It’s important to note that Slezak’s run in Port Charles won’t be for the long haul, as the actress has already wrapped up filming. As per a post on her official fan club page, that was uploaded on the very day “Ronnie” first appeared on canvas, September 26, it was noted that Slezak has finished her filming on the ABC soap.
The statement from Slezak starts off with, “The past three weeks have been an incredible yet exhausting journey.”
She adds, “I worked every day with amazing, friendly, and lovely people—not just the actors, but everyone involved, from the hair and make-up team, including Angela, Wendy, and Karol, to the crew and the fabulous Bruce Cooperman, who I have known for over 30 years since his days as a cameraman on ‘OLTL,’ and the security guard, Emma.
Slezak closes with, “Everyone was warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. I couldn’t have done it without them.”
More Casting Notes
In addition, GH fans will see more of “adult escort” Jacinda Bracken, played by Paige Herschell. Jacinda was originally brought on the scene to bring down Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), but it’s becoming increasingly obvious that she may be evolving into Michael Corinthos’s (Rory Gibson) love interest.
She’ll be back during the week of September 29 to share scenes with the very man she’s trying to create an alibi for.
Plus, viewers will see more of fan favorite Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), as he frets over James West’s (Gary James Fuller) reaction to finding out that his dad, Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) is alive.
