General Hospital Comings & Goings February 24-28: Baddie’s Goodbye, Recast Exit, Doctor Status Unknown, New Character Alert
General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate the week of February 24-28 will be explosive as sweeps month wraps up. Still, who can fans expect to see come and go over the next five days (and beyond)? Read on to find out!
Baddie’s Goodbye
Cyrus Renault and Jeff Kober officially departed from the land of Port Charles, after five incredible years with the soap. The psychopath who apparently found God was shot by Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) during the Thursday, February 20 show and pronounced dead, shortly after.
Kober joined the cast in 2020 and snagged a Daytime Emmy award in 2022 within the Outstanding Supporting Actor category.
Meanwhile, speaking of goodbyes, actor Guy Wilson’s temporary recast run as Lucky Spencer has ended. He was subbing in for Jonathan Jackson and appeared on GH from Tuesday, February 18 to Thursday, February 19; however, Jackson stepped back into the role by Friday, February 21. No reason behind Jonathan’s absence was given.
Welcome To Port Charles, Tobias!
Meanwhile, actor Charlie Besso as Tobias, Aiden Spencer’s (Colin Cassidy)ntered the canvas during the Tuesday, February 18 episode as Tobias, Aiden Spencer’s (Colin Cassidy) boyfriend. While he is new to daytime, other projects he’s worked on in the past include Fallout, Will Trent, and The Calling.
Will Kevin Collins Exit?
Soap fans learned last week that actor Jon Lindstrom, who’s been on GH (on and off) since 1992 playing Kevin Collins and his mentally unstable twin brother, Ryan Chamberlain, has landed a role in the new CBS daytime drama, Beyond the Gates (BTG).
The new show shoots in Atlanta, while GH films in Los Angeles. Lindstrom is slated to play Joey Armstrong, a sketchy casino owner. It’s important to note that Lindstrom is not on contract with GH, and it’s unclear what his status is with BTG.
As such, there’s been no word as to whether the actor will officially exit GH or stay on with both shows. The last time Lindstrom appeared in the land of Port Charles was December 2024.
