Chris McKenna from General Hospital who now acts as Jack Brennan on the ABC daytime drama, and Erika Slezak stayed in touch since he acted as her son, Joey on One Life to Live. However, two worlds collided recently, and it was a joyful moment for everyone involved.
Two Worlds Collide
One Life to Live’s final episode aired a ling time ago, and the actors moved on with their lives. Well, Chris McKenna and his wife married a decade later, and now they have a beautiful little boy named Spencer. Chris acted in some movies and so did Erika, but according to him, they haven’t gotten together with all of his family before now. But she did know his mom from the olden days.
He did talk to her and we know that because he mentioned it in a podcast. However, she hadn’t mentioned being on General Hospital, even though they agreed to meet in the fall of this year. Obviously, he was super excited when his TV mom’s appearance on GH became known. And now they got together together after a long time.
Sharing photos on Monday night, Chris McKenna wrote on Instagram:
Just indescribable having Erika here. To be meeting my family after so many decades apart is incredible. My two mom’s and the mother of my son together. So grateful.

Other Cast Members Reunited
Chris McKenna’s post was very sweet as the two actors reunited. But, they were not the only ones. A few days ago, Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis) also shared a photo with Erika Slezak. At the time, she related a story about how, as a young actress playing Beverly Wilkes, Slezak stepped up to defend her against a producer who wanted to sue her over what might have been a misunderstanding.
ABC fans are also excited to see Erika on General Hospital. Although they don’t know her role yet, spoilers did reveal that she turned up at Monica Quartermaine’s (Leslie Charleson) funeral. Spotted by a mausoleum, folks wonder who she is. Well, fans will have to wait to find out.
