General Hospital Casting Shockers: A Major Exit, Debuts, 2 Leading Characters Return, Explosive Recasts + More

General Hospital spoilers suggest that the ABC soap is experiencing a major casting upheaval.
From a massive exit to a major debut, plus two leading character returns and recasts, there’s a lot to unpack, so let’s get into it.
Kirsten Storms’ General Hospital Update
General Hospital spoilers reveal that fans won’t see Kirsten Storms on canvas anytime soon.
The actress, who has been in the Maxie Jone role since 2005, hopped on Instagram to alert fans that she’s not returning to studios in L.A. to film in the near future.
Storms is dealing with a lot of personal issues right now, and she told her fans that her top priority is, and always will be, her daughter, Harper Rose Barash.
With that said, the exit door continues, with Kristina Corinthos-Davis, played by Kate Mansi, slated to depart from storylines soon.
Kristina is slated to head to medical school, and her final airdate is looming as Mansi has already wrapped up filming.
In addition, Pascal Leveque, Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) vile butler, exited recently when he skipped out of town to avoid the wrath of his boss.
Two Major Returns
In some fun news, both Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) are both set to return.
Burton officially was back on the set filming on Monday, June 1, so fans can expect to see him re-enter storylines sometime in July.
No timeline has been indicated on when Anna will be seen, so fans should expect to see her in the weeks ahead.
New Debut Alert
General Hospital spoilers revealed that there’s a new character set to hit Port Charles by the name of Tristan Roberts.
Played by Australian actor Dean Geyer, he’ll enter the little town sometime in July. GH is seemingly paying tribute to the iconic, late Tristan Roberts and his PC character, WSB spy, Robert Scorpio.
Recast Mania
Scout Cain will have a different look, and will grow up very fast this July, as 16 year-old, Kayden Tokarski takes over the character from Cosette Abinante.
While Scout should technically be nine, as she was born in 2017, this doesn’t necessarily matter in the land of soaps, right?
Plus, Kelly Kruger is going to join the cast at some point soon, playing Scotty Baldwin’s (Kin Shriner) daughter, Serena Baldwin.
Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) is also very close to Serena, as she was the girl’s surrogate.
