General Hospital spoilers, news, and updates reveal that Alley Mills will return as Heather Webber in the show.
Alley Mills is part of the recast for the character of Heather Webber, which was portrayed by other actresses such as Georganne LaPiere, Mary O’Brien, and Robin Mattson.
And now, Alley Mills is back to take the role, which she started to portray last October 2022 until February 2023. And just recently, it was announced that she would be returning to continue playing Heather Webber.
Daytime Emmy Award Nomination
Apart from this renewal, it was also just announced that Alley is nominated for the same role in General Hospital in the Daytime Emmy Award under the Outstanding Guest Star category.
She revealed in an interview that she would be back in the soap. But there are still no details about what her storyline would be. Apart from General Hospital, Alley Mills was also part of The Bold and The Beautiful, in which she played Pam.
Who is Heather Webber?
The character has been part of the soap since 1976 and was originally portrayed by Georganne LaPiere. Heather Webber is one of the antagonists in the soap and has committed a lot of crimes throughout her life.
But to recap in the recent events, it was revealed that Heather had an affair with Ryan Chamberlain (played by Jon Lindstrom) and that they had a daughter. It was revealed later that it was Esme Prince (played by Avery Kristen Pohl). In an episode earlier this year, Heather was able to finally meet her daughter Esme. She had given her up for adoption. It was years later before Ryan found out about Esme’s existence.
Heather Confesses That She is The Hook Killer
Heather and Esme met in prison. While inside, Esme doesn’t remember anything because of amnesia caused by a traumatic event. Esme is in jail because they thought she was the hook killer. Heather was able to protect Esme while inside, but what could really help her is Heather’s confession that she is the hook killer.
Heather was able to get herself tangled up with Esme’s issues with Kevin and Ryan. But Heather means well, and she just really wants to save her daughter and her granddaughter. But it wasn’t really a great reunion because, as of the most recent episode with Heather, Esme told her that she is dead to her and that she will never see her grandchild.
In the episode, Heather blames Laura for how Esme feels about her. She said that Laura will pay for it. How will Heather’s story be written again? Will she be able to get out and have her revenge?
