General Hospital, (GH) star, Bradford Anderson, (Damian Spinelli) and Josh Kelly hosted a Zoom event to raise funds for the LA fires that devastated the city and surrounds. On Sunday, he reported back on their efforts.
Bradford Anderson & Daytime Makes a Difference
The General Hospital star is well known for his talent as a singer. Plus, his comedy tours are always welcome. But, there wasn’t anything to laugh about regarding the Los Angeles fires. Hoping to make a difference, he arranged a Zoom fundraiser event with Coastal Entertainment.
Bradford Anderson is not the only ABC star who did something to help those in need. Kate Grahn performed at a benefit concert, making her mom, Nancy Lee Grahn, (Alexis Davis) proud. The duo also purchased food and other necessary items and delivered them to shelters and firefighters.
Bradford Anderson Raised Thousands Of Dollars
GH fans who follow the Damian Spinelli actor saw that he posted adverts for the Daytime Makes a Difference fundraiser. He told his followers they could buy tickets and join in live on Zoom as “stars past and present” got together to raise funds for the LA fires. And Cameron Mathison, (Drew Cain) who lost his home was one of the first to put up his hand for it.
Minutes after the event on Sunday, Bradford Anderson reported back on a successful event. On Instagram, he told his General Hospital fans that a group of ABC personalities had raised thousands of dollars. In his caption, the GH star wrote:
We are so grateful to everyone that bought tickets, all the actors that joined, and all the people that got the word out! Thank you for making today so successful!
In the text overlay on the photo, the ABC star added, “Thanks To You We Raised $28,875 For Fire Relief! THANK YOU!!!”
Daytime Drama Fans Respond
Those who missed the Zoom event wanted to donate even though they hadn’t purchased tickets for the Daytime Makes a Difference fundraiser. Here are some responses to the successful effort for the LA Fires by the real-life Damian Spinelli:
