General Hospital Spoilers: Jason’s Shocking Rocco Suggestion Puts Danny on the Spot – Trouble Ahead?
Jason is proud of Danny’s hard work, but an unexpected suggestion involving Rocco could complicate his punishment.

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that in this week’s Sneak Peek, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) gives his son, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn), something to think about.
The promo starts with Jason walking into Cody Bell’s (Josh Kelly) stables apartment looking for Danny and calling out for him. Danny soon emerges from the stables.
Key Takeaways
- Danny continues working off his punishment at the Quartermaine stables
- Tracy makes sure Danny learns his lesson about borrowing cars
- Jason praises his son for taking responsibility
- Danny admits he underestimated the amount of work at the stables
- Jason suggests Rocco help Danny despite their ongoing tension
Danny Has Been Working Off His Punishment for “Borrowing” Cars
Danny has been working off his punishment for “borrowing” cars without their owners’ permission, Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) for one, and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) caught him trying to “borrow” hers.
She assigned him stable work, cleaning out the horse stalls and the stable floor, and helping Cody with whatever else he might need help with.
Danny has had to work whether Cody is there or not, and by now, Danny knows his duties quite well.
He’ll continue to work out his punishment until Tracy decides that he’s learned his lesson about “borrowing” cars.
In addition, Jason had banned him from any type of motor vehicle use as well.
Jason has already faced difficult parenting decisions, including explaining his past sacrifices to Danny.
Jason Comes to Check on How Danny Is Doing
Jason walks into the apartment Cody lives in at the Quartermaine stables, which is basically on the way to the stables, and calls out to his son.
“Danny, I’ve been looking for you. How’s it going?”
Danny walks in from the stables, where he was working with some bags of horse feed.
Danny tells his dad that it’s better now. He’s almost done with Aunt Tracy’s list of chores for the day, so… and his voice trails off.
Jason says, “Yeah, where are your gloves?”
Danny says he doesn’t need them because the blisters on his hands are finally starting to callus.
Jason tells Danny he’s really proud of him. He’s taking this seriously, and he’s working really hard.
Their relationship has been tested before, especially as Jason tries to focus on being Danny’s father.
Jason Gives Danny Something to Think About
Danny tells his father, “Well, this is what happens when you damage things and try to take people’s cars without asking first,” showing that Danny is learning a much-needed lesson.
Danny continues talking and says, “You know, you’ve got to pay the consequences. You can’t be a wimp about it.”
Jason responds, “That’s right,” and Danny continues, saying he had no idea how much work had to get done around there every single day, though.
Then Jason gives Danny something to think about.
He says, “Yeah, it’s a lot,” and then asks him how he would feel about Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) helping him out.
Danny and Rocco haven’t been getting along, and now Danny has to think about how to answer!
The tension between the boys has already erupted, with Danny punching Rocco during a heated confrontation.
Editor’s Take
I’m glad Jason is making Danny take responsibility for his actions, but bringing Rocco into the picture could make things interesting! These two boys have had their differences, and I’m not convinced working together will suddenly fix everything. Could Jason’s suggestion help them bury the hatchet, or will it create even more trouble?
