General Hospital Spoilers: Quinn’s Fake Kidnapping – Kai’s Secret Romantic Surprise for Trina?

General Hospital spoilers and updates pose the question: stalker or surprise? Is Quinn’s (Jequan Jackson) alleged “kidnap” really a setup by Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) for a romantic evening with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali)?

There Could Be Two Different Things Going On Here

There could be two different things going on here: the stalker responsible for the flowers, and possibly for Trina’s car breaking down, or it could have been part of Kai and Quinn’s plan.

Trina wouldn’t have had any idea how to get to what appeared to be a hotel room or possibly a studio apartment, all set up for a night of romance, without being told.

And then, she might have been suspicious if she were told to go there, even if it were to meet Kai. It could have ruined the surprise!

And then, Trina’s car was seemingly in the back of the Jerome Art Gallery, whereas the Cat’s Eye Lounge was out of town.

There was one other thing that seemed suspicious.

The stalker who ordered the flowers had Trina’s song downloaded on his computer. There haven’t been any records released yet, so where did he get it?

As General Hospital Tea previously reported, Quinn’s suspicious appearance during Trina’s car trouble raised questions about whether he was playing the hero or setting a trap.

Why Didn’t Kai Just Pick Her Up Himself, And Why Didn’t She Call Him?

There are a couple of other questions that are pertinent here. Why didn’t Kai just pick her up himself, and why didn’t she call him?

Well, it may have simply been too early.

Trina did mention to Quinn that she was supposed to rehearse with Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza), but he canceled at the last minute.

Kai may have planned this surprise for after the rehearsal, and perhaps he simply wasn’t available.

He may have had things to do during that time, so Quinn finding Trina was a happy coincidence.

But as far as her car breaking down, that could have been the stalker’s sabotage, and Quinn may have just interrupted something far worse when he found her stranded.

The mystery has been building for months, and General Hospital Tea previously explored whether Quinn, Simon, or someone else could be stalking Trina.

Whether her stalker followed her to the parking lot behind the art gallery or not is another question.

He could have been lurking as Quinn drove Trina away!

Trina Was Skeptical And Suspicious

Of course, when Quinn finally got Trina over to the room, she was skeptical and suspicious, and she’ll be troubled as well.

Unless Kai emerges from a bathroom or somewhere else and yells, “Surprise!” Trina will no doubt think Quinn is the stalker and that he’s been stalking her!

She will probably either say she’s going to call an Uber or perhaps call Kai.

That’s when Quinn may tell her he’s sorry, but he can’t let her do that.

And then, at that moment, Kai may jump out and surprise her, thanking Quinn for bringing her, even if it’s a little too early!

However, the danger surrounding Trina shouldn’t be dismissed.

As Celebrating The Soaps reported, Quinn’s involvement in Trina’s car trouble could be a deliberate distraction from the real stalker’s identity.

But Trina still has a stalker. It just may not be who it appears to be.

Editor’s Take

I think Kai planning a romantic surprise for Trina makes sense, especially if Quinn is helping him pull it off.

However, I don’t believe the stalker mystery is going away that easily.

The flowers, the mysterious song download, and Trina’s car trouble are all suspicious.

Even if Quinn turns out to be innocent, someone is clearly paying far too much attention to Trina.

And if Kai really is planning a romantic evening, her stalker could ruin everything!
