General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that suspicious Stella Henry (Verneé Watson) has Monet Mitchell’s (Blythe Howard) number! Might Stella decide to investigate Monet’s past on her own, and find out if she’s really what she claims to be?
Jordan Knows Monet’s Her Younger Half-Sister, But She’s Not In Town To Ask
Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) knows who Monet is, who she is to her, and that she’s back in Port Charles, and she told Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson).
But she didn’t mention Monet when she talked to Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and then immediately left to go to Baden-Baden with Michael after getting Curtis’ blessing on the procedure.
Ironically-or perhaps not so ironically-at the time, Monet was in a meeting with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and got a mysterious phone call.
Chase also got a call, unrelated to his and Monet’s meeting and left, and Monet swooped in on Curtis in his General Hospital room-Jordan was already gone and not around to ask about being her sister.
Stella came in while they were there, after Curtis dumped Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) as his lawyer, and he took Monet’s offer to handle his appeal-but neither one of them trust her!
Curtis Has Been Both A Cop And A Private Investigator, But Stella Definitely Has The Skills!
Curtis has been both a cop and a private investigator in the past, but Stella definitely has the skills; number one, she can be incredibly nosy, and number two, incredibly suspicious.
Curtis knows that Monet has an angle and he asked her about it, but still, she never divulged her relationship to Jordan until he took her up on the deal to represent him.
He may talk to Stella about that little detail, that she only told him after she took her deal, almost as an aside.
Curtis may not be able to do an investigation on Monet himself, although he’s almost certainly tempted to do so; she claims to be the new attorney at Miller and Davis.
However, no one from that office has ever mentioned her, which makes Stella even more suspicious-and she’s determined to find out if Monet is who she claims she is, and what she claims she is!
If Stella Can Handle Chief Of Staff Duties At GH, She Can Handle A Background Investigation
If Stella can handle chief of staff duties at GH, she can certainly handle a background investigation; the chief of Staff has personnel duties as well as other administrative tasks.
Quite often when a new doctor or nurse comes to the hospital their background has to be checked to make sure they are who they claim, and they’re qualified to do what they do.
They have to pass muster in their medical licenses, their background, and in many instances their personal life and that includes criminal background investigation.
After all, no one wants or needs a rapist as an OB/GYN or a child predator as a pediatrician! So, when Stella is not busy investigating potential hospital personnel, she’ll use the same systems to investigate Monet!
