General Hospital Comings & Goings Oct 12-16: Contract Status, Character Return + More
General Hospital spoilers confirm some major moments up ahead in Port Charles during the week of October 12-16, as well as some fun casting news! Find out who’s coming and who’s going from the ABC soap over the next five days below.
Blythe Howard’s Contract Status
As per the closing credits to General Hospital’s most recent episode, Blythe Howard, who plays Monet Mitchell – Jordan Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper) younger sister – is on recurring status.
The actress debuted on the ABC soap on Wednesday, September 23, mere weeks ago. It’s important to note that just because she’s on recurring status, this doesn’t mean that Monet is going anywhere.
In fact, many recurring players on General Hospital and other daytime dramas, still play an active role in storylines. It simply means that Howard doesn’t have a contract with the show and will appear on canvas when the story dictates it.
Monet is seen this week on the Thursday, October 15 show as she offers legal advice to Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner).
More Casting Notes
It’s been a while since fans have seen Ezra Boyle on the canvas, but it looks like Daniel Cosgrove will re-enter storylines during the Monday, October 12 episode. As per General Hospital’s promo, Ezra will share scenes with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).
It seems as if a crisis may be on the horizon for Carly – or Ezra – so could this mean that Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will be on her way back from Ireland?
In other casting news, Ric Lansing will be busy in PC next week as Rick Hearst gets more onscreen time.
During the October 12 show, Ric will bring Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) some good news, so will he have scored those piers for his brother? In addition, Ric and Sonny will plot during the October 15 episode. Lastly, Ric gains a new client as the Friday, October 16 show rolls around.
