General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Loses Everything, Josslyn’s Deadly Revenge & Drew’s Ruthless Takeover?

General Hospital spoilers and updates pose the question: After the shocking fallout from Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) setup, is everything at risk?

So far, he’s lost his son, his oldest grandson and his girlfriend. What else can happen?

Key Takeaways

• Sonny faces devastating family betrayals.
• Josslyn plots revenge against Sonny.
• Carly could face a heartbreaking choice.
• Justine and Dante turn against Sonny.
• Drew could seize Sonny’s piers.

Sonny’s Become A Pariah

Nearly everyone in Sonny’s world doubts his innocence despite his denials. As people turn against him over Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) death, Sonny faces devastating consequences.

Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Ava Jerome (Maura West) successfully framed him for ordering Sidwell’s prison beating. Though they didn’t intend for Curtis to be harmed, his death serves their purposes perfectly.

Now Sonny’s family believes he lied about leaving the mob, while Curtis’ loved ones demand justice. Sonny’s life is unraveling rapidly.

His son Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) has cut him off, and Giovanni Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) thinks he’s guilty and is moving in with Emma Scorpio Drake (Braedyn Bruner) to get away from him.

ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) has ended their relationship. A growing list of people now wants to see Sonny imprisoned, and the fallout from Ava and Drew’s scheme is reshaping his entire life.

Josslyn’s Vendetta

Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is pursuing Sonny with a personal vendetta against her former stepfather.

She joined the WSB partly to seek justice for Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and stop criminals like Sonny, whom she blames for years of organized crime and family devastation, including the pain caused to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Morgan Corinthos’ (Bryan Craig) death.

Although this mission faded temporarily, Josslyn is now determined to take Sonny down and make him pay.

After Agent William Baines (Alimi Ballard) refused her WSB assignment request, she’s pivoting to using JJE instead, a plan she’s already shared with Hudson Parker (Troy Lennon Appel).

Josslyn is targeting Sonny financially, but she’s also proven she can be lethal. After all, she killed Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) in revenge for Dex.

Josslyn And Carly Fallout

Joss has eliminated criminals for the WSB, including Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes), demonstrating her willingness to use deadly force.

This raises the possibility that she could shoot Sonny, creating a shocking parallel to Carly’s past.

Carly once shot her stepfather Tony Jones (Brad Maule), so Joss shooting her former stepfather Sonny would mirror that history.

The consequences would be devastating, especially since Sonny is Donna Corinthos’ (Scarlett Spears) biological father.

Such an act could permanently damage Josslyn’s relationship with her mother. Carly is one of the few people who still believes Sonny is innocent.

Carly already fears the WSB is destroying Joss’ future, and this scenario would only confirm those concerns.

Sonny May Not Take Justine Back

Another devastating consequence involves Sonny’s romantic relationship.

Justine has officially ended things with Sonny after he insisted he was framed, a claim she refuses to believe.

Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) intensified the situation by threatening to end her friendship with Justine unless she left Sonny, particularly because of her anger over Curtis’ assault.

Faced with this pressure, Justine ended the relationship and now plans to prove Sonny’s guilt and pursue criminal charges against him.

Although Sonny may eventually be exonerated, his tendency to hold grudges could prevent a reconciliation.

Justine might deeply regret not believing him when he needed her most.

Dante And Sonny’s Father-Son Relationship In Jeopardy?

Additional fallout threatens Sonny’s relationship with Dante.

Their bond appears shattered. Dante refuses to hear Sonny’s denials and immediately assumed his father was lying about leaving the mob and deceiving the family.

This quick judgment infuriated Sonny, who lashed out by saying he didn’t want a son like Dante, although he didn’t mean it.

The damage could be lasting. Even if Sonny’s innocence is proven, his relationship with Dante may never fully recover.

Their history goes back years, when Dante arrived in Port Charles as a Bensonhurst cop determined to bring Sonny to justice.

Who could forget Sonny shooting Dante, only to learn he was his son when a terrified Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) revealed the truth?

Sonny Could Be Banned From The Sidwell Auction

Sonny could also face significant business obstacles because of the setup.

While Josslyn intends to pursue him financially, she’s far from his only problem.

Sonny is preparing to bid on Sidwell’s assets at a police auction. However, if he faces criminal charges related to the attacks on Sidwell and Curtis, he could potentially be prevented from participating.

That would stop him from reclaiming his piers.

Meanwhile, Drew is eager to purchase them. If Sonny is barred from bidding, Drew could acquire the piers without facing much competition.

Could Sonny lose his legitimate business interests along with his family?

Sonny’s Payback

This could prompt Sonny to retaliate against Drew.

If Sonny resorts to underhanded tactics, that could signal his return to his former criminal lifestyle.

If everyone already doubts his commitment to going legitimate, Sonny might decide there’s no reason to keep trying.

However, several people remain loyal to him, including Carly, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), and his brother Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst).

Ultimately, Drew and Ava’s setup has caused enormous damage, and its consequences could linger for a long time.

With Sonny’s family, freedom and business interests all hanging in the balance, how much more can he lose before he fights back?
