‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Anna’s Deadly Confrontation, Brennan’s Exit, Ava’s In Trouble
General Hospital spoilers for the week of August 31-September 4 indicate that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will have a mental health spiral, as Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will be in major danger.

Carly Spencer’s Metro Court Drama
General Hospital’s promo for the week of August 31 starts with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). She is in her Metro Court office with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), as she explains, in sheer panic, that all the security cameras in the hotel are down.
Plus, the alarms have been deactivated. A gloved hand is shown near a computer, inserting a flash drive.
As fans know, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) set his plan in motion to deactivate the Metro Court’s security during the Friday, August 31 show. Drew’s goal is to search Brennan’s hotel room, without getting detected, to find that blackmailing evidence the WSB Chief has on him.
Still, it looks like his scheme, which includes Ava Jerome (Maura West), will go very wrong.
Ava Jerome’s Plea
As scenes shift in the video, Drew is shown in super spy’s Metro Court room, with a flashlight in hand, as Ava states frantically, “We have to get the he!! out of here, Drew, now!”
As the preview continues, Brennan is shown in an elevator, looking terribly drowsy. During the August 28 episode, Ava planted some sleeping pills into his drink as part of Drew’s plan to keep Brennan occupied.
Still, all arrows are pointing to Drew and Ava’s scheme causing the man’s demise. Will this be Brennan’s exit story? Reports do reveal he’s slated to leave the canvas at some point this fall.
Back to Carly and Jason, the former henchman tells the blonde that something is off, as she looks utterly stunned … and a little scared!
Britt Westbourne’s Terror
Speaking of being scared, as the General Hospital promo for the week of August 31 wraps up, the words, “Their Time Is Up”, flash across the screen. Britt is shown; it’s nighttime, and she appears to be in the middle of the woods somewhere.
Britt asks, “Why do we have to meet all the way out here?” Britt’s talking to Anna, who pulls out a gun and points it at her. Anna then declares, “So no one can hear you scream.”
Brennan, Drew, and then Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) faces all hit the screen – all looking shocked – and then the preview closes.
