General Hospital spoilers and updates pose the question, is Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) apology tour for real, or is there a hidden agenda?
Drew has apologized and claimed he wants to make amends with several people over the past few days, even though most of them aren’t sure whether to believe him!
Drew Is Plotting Against Sonny With Ava, But Is He Sincere With Others?
Drew is plotting against Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) with Ava Jerome, (Maura West) but is he sincere with others he’s approached with apologies? One is Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) whose meeting with Ava Drew interrupted, in the episode on August 21.
Portia didn’t know whether she could trust his apology or not, so the two just agreed to stay away from each other-Drew was okay with that!
Drew had already apologized and made amends with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and testified in his behalf at his court hearing-he lied, but he made his former buddy look good! That might be why Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) was willing to give him a second chance at Aurora Media-possibly for a job that Curtis previously conned him out of!
Drew Apologized To Michael Corinthos, But Michael Wasn’t Buying It
When he went to Aurora, Drew apologized to Michael Corinthos, (Rory Gibson) but Michael wasn’t buying it; he just doesn’t trust his uncle, and Drew understood, and even said he didn’t blame him.
Drew asked Michael first about a job, even an entry level one or one as consultant-considering he cofounded the company along with the late Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) that was generous!
Michael wasn’t buying it and turned Drew down flat, because he just didn’t trust him-that was when Jordan overruled Michael and said yes to Drew.
But even then, she had to find a spot and get back to him, which Drew said was fine. After he left, Jordan told Michael in confidence that she didn’t trust Drew one bit, she was just keeping their enemy closer!
Drew Is Only Apologizing To Certain People
Drew is only apologizing to certain people and telling them his months “locked in” and in a wheelchair had made him think about his life and mistakes.
But there are a lot of people who deserve his apologies who he’s NOT apologizing to, and certainly NOT sorry! He should be apologizing to his daughter Scout Cain (Kayden Brenna Tokarski) and her maternal relatives like Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).
But he’s not, and clamping down even tighter on Scout, forcing her to lie and see Danny, at least, on the sneak along with Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr)>
That shows that more than likely Drew’s apology tour isn’t sincere at all, and it’s just a means to an end-or several ends, as he’s apologized to several people. And more than likely, dastardly Drew has not changed for the better, and he does have ulterior motives!
