General Hospital spoilers suggest that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) could escape jailtime if Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) betrays Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson).
Portia backed up Isaiah’s statement at the PCPD … but what happens on the stand during the week of August 3?
Isaiah Gannon Is Fuming
General Hospital spoilers for the week of August 3-7 note that Curtis’s trial will begin. As the days go by, GH spoilers reveal that Isaiah will vent to Elizabeth “Liz” Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Lucas Jones (Van Hansis).
It sounds like Isaiah won’t be happy with the final verdict or what happens in the courtroom during Curtis’ case.
It’s important to note that as Portia was there during Isaiah and Curtis’ fight, she’ll take the stand. She’s also the only person, other than the two men, who was close enough to the incident to comment on it.
As fans know, Curtis approached the twosome while they were out to dinner at the Metro Court patio. Isaiah playfully touched Portia’s belly, and Curtis was quick to lash out at him.
It was wrong for Curtis to do that, and punching him was even worse. With that said, Isaiah did provoke Curtis by saying he’d make a better dad to Portia’s baby than Curtis ever would
Portia Robinson’s Testimony
It seems hard to believe that Curtis will go to prison, so will Portia testify about Isaiah’s comment? She may do this by accident, or intentionally.
After all, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) tried to convince Portia to tell the truth on the stand some weeks ago. With that said, Portia gave birth to Desmund Robinson Ashford (Yirah Aviah) shortly after their chat, and nothing has been brought up since.
Will Jordan remind her of their fight and how she still came back to help with the delivery? Could Jordan guilt her into telling the truth?
Then again, Portia may see Curtis and Desmund bonding and realize she has to do the right thing.
After all, it’s because of Portia’s lies that he missed out on Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) younger years and is at risk of the same with Desmund. Then again, maybe Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) talks some sense into her!
