Maurice Benard Celebrates Rare Video Of Daughter Cassidy
The General Hospital star joked that getting Cassidy on camera is almost impossible as the family celebrated TT's birthday.
This weekend, General Hospital (GH) star Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos) shared that the family celebrated a special day, and he also managed to capture some footage of his daughter, Cassidy. And that says a lot because she hates it when her dad takes videos of her.
Where Were They Going?
In an Instagram reel on Saturday, Maurice told his GH followers that it was TT’s birthday. Cassidy is TT’s aunt, and the little girl is Cassidy’s older sister Cailey’s daughter.
Maurice Benard spends a lot of time with his granddaughter, and with Milo, his grandson. Often, ABC daytime fans see them together hanging out with Buddy the Goat or racing in little cars around the house. TT also likes to dance for her grandpa. But Cassidy? She would rather stay away from the cameras.
Getting Her On Video
Whenever he manages to get video footage of Cassidy, Maurice Benard shares it triumphantly. Clearly, it’s a bit of a running joke between them.
In this week’s reel, the caption also said, “Getting my daughter Cassidy on a video is a rarity. She always fights me on it. I usually lose. I’m trying to get her on @mbstateofmind.” Then he added, wryly, “I might get @vanessamarcilmlovesk on before my daughterš¤¦š»āāļø”
Fans knew he was talking about Vanessa Marcil (Brenda Barrett on General Hospital). But the comments section filled up with much chatter about Cassidy and TT.

In the reel, Maurice had asked his fans if they thought his daughter looked amazing. And lots of people agreed that she did. So, they said it in the comments. One ABC fan wrote, “Cassidy is gorgeous! š Happy Birthday TT! Wish big!”

Then with Cassidy, fans are wishing her well, because she became engaged to Anthony Cammarata. Her dad shared that the happy occasion happened in Tokyo, Japan. They haven’t tied the knot yet, but fans know that when she does, Maurice Benard will probably tell them all about it.
