General Hospital Spoilers: Phoebe’s Secret Father Revealed in Shocking Port Charles Twist!

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that  secret father is about to be revealed in a shocking Port Charles twist!

We already know that Ethan Lovett (Christian Howard) isn’t, he only manipulated the truth to protect the baby-so who is it?

Ethan Revealed He’s Not Phoebe’s Father To Ava, And Warned Her About Him

GH introduced a new actor, Christian Howard, this week-he’s new to soaps, and his character, Ethan Lovett, warned Ava Jerome (Maura West) about Phoebe’s father.

Ethan described this man as dangerous and wants to protect Phoebe from him; we need to uncover who this villain is. The only clue we have, besides Ethan calling him a villain, is that he has an arrest record.

Remember, Ethan recently sneaked into the PCPD evidence room, disguised as a cop, and took a DNA sample from Phoebe’s biological dad, passing it off as his own.

So, the mystery father has to be someone who’s been in Port Charles, and has an arrest record-possibly under an alias.

Alexis Needed The Paternity Test So Ethan Could Sign Away Paternal Rights To Phoebe

Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) mentioned that a paternity test is needed to confirm Ethan as the father before he can give parental rights. That is so Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) can adopt Phoebe.

Ethan also told Ava that he and Delilah Wilson (Lily Cardone) were just friends, and Delilah got involved with a bad guy, and he wants to protect her and her baby from him.

Clearly, Phoebe’s dad has been arrested in Port Charles, or his DNA wouldn’t be in a local case file. It’s someone who has been arrested and is likely so frightening that Delilah was trying to stay away from him.

Sonny Corinthos-Makes Sense, Maybe?

First up is the baby-making king and head mobster of Port Charles, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), not that he needs another child.

But let’s face it, any woman who spends too much time around Sonny has a significantly high chance of ending up pregnant. His DNA is already in the PCPD database, given his numerous arrests.

It’s doubtful it’s Sonny, considering the timeline. However, it does make sense that Ethan appeared and then took a job with Sonny if he was trying to keep tabs on him to safeguard Delilah from Sonny.

Ethan Doesn’t Think It’s Sonny, Or He’d Have Gotten The DNA Another Way

If Ethan were indeed the father of Delilah’s child, he could have easily obtained a DNA sample from Sonny without the need for a risky break-in at the PCPD. A simple theft of Sonny’s toothbrush, hairbrush, or water bottle would have sufficed.

However, I didn’t get the impression that Ethan’s description aligns with Sonny, and besides, we already know why Ethan wanted to work with him.

He wanted to take down Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) who terrorized both his mother and his sister.  Still, when it comes to fertile men with a history of felony arrests, Sonny certainly tops the list.

Another Big If-Jason!

As we search the world of local mobsters, we can’t overlook Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Like Sonny, Jason isn’t a monster that Ethan needs to shield Delilah and her child from.

However, Jason is inherently dangerous; perhaps he’s less of a threat these days, but he still holds the title of mob enforcer and hitman. It would be intriguing if Ethan decided to work for Sonny to gather more information about Jason and evaluate how significant a threat he could have posed to Delilah.

Moreover, Jason has certainly been arrested numerous times by the PCPD, which means his DNA is likely stored in multiple evidence boxes that Ethan could potentially access. I must admit, it could be entertaining to see Jason become a father again, especially since he has finally chosen to embrace fatherhood at this point in his life.

Could Phoebe’s Father Be Valentin Cassadine?

Another potential baby daddy is Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart); he’s a good dad but can be quite a troublemaker-Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) loves him, but he has a scary past

Even the wild Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) feared him-now, he’s a gentler version of himself.

Still, if Ethan looks at his history, he might think Delilah should have avoided him. She could have met Valentin while he was hiding or away from Port Charles; plus, Charlotte is often in danger because Valentin’s enemies want to use her against him.

So, Ethan might want to protect baby Phoebe from Valenti-it would be sweet to see him with a baby, and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) enjoys caring for kids, so she’d support it.

Could It Be Jack Brennan?

Next, let’s discuss Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna); recently, he seems kinder, but he has a dark past-he was involved with Valentin in running Pikeman and even planned to kidnap Carly.

Jack’s DNA is likely on file at the PCPD due to his arrest and time in Pentonville, but the WSB released him and promoted him instead of punishing him.

As far as we know, he has no children; however, if he suddenly had a baby, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) would be more interested in him since she loves kids.

Still,  Delilah wouldn’t have wanted Jack as a father for her child, so he’s probably not the dad, he’s old enough to be her father. If Ethan has heard about Brennan and other villains while working for Sonny, that would make him view Jack negatively.

Could Dastardly Drew Be The Dad?

Next on the list is tough to think about; what if Delilah’s baby daddy is Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison)? He really doesn’t need another child since he’s not taking care of Scout Cain (Kayden Brenna Tokarski).  

Besides, Drew was in Port Charles all the time during the time period when he and Delilah could have had an affair.

Drew has turned into a villain since his time in Pentonville,but, due to his insider trading arrest, his DNA is on file at the PCPD. With Ethan in Port Charles and getting close to Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), he’s likely heard about Drew and would want to keep baby Phoebe away from him.

Daddy Hudson?

Another character to think about is someone not yet on the canvas but arriving this week; a new guy named Hudson is coming, played by Troy Lennon Appel.

We’ve heard he’s a villain, a shady character; he could be a candidate for Delilah’s baby daddy. We don’t know much about him, but he might have a dark past in Port Charles, possibly even an arrest that could explain his DNA being in a case file.

He could be linked to Sidwell or Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes);  that would make Hudson a serious threat. Ethan wanted to help Sonny take down Sidwell when he returned, so if Hudson works for Sidwell and is Phoebe’s father, Ethan might aim to take down both Sidwell and Hudson.
