You have to admit, it makes a lot of sense with Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) being his mother and married to Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers)!
Ethan Came To Port Charles For More Reasons Than Just To Visit Family
General Hospital fans will remember that Ethan came to Port Charles for more reasons than just to visit family, although that’s what he told most people.
That’s what he told Tracy Quartermaine, (Jane Elliot) his late father Luke Spencer’s (Anthony Geary) widow, and his half-sister Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening).
But he did bring up revenge on Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) when he talked to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) because of what he’d done to his mother, and to his half-sister Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson).
However, taking down Sidwell didn’t seem to be his primary mission, his mission seemed more related to Delilah Wilson (Lily Cardone), who he didn’t reach in time to save.
It sounds like whoever Phoebe Wilson’s (Luna and Lucia Creighton) father is, is who the subject of Ethan’s undercover WSB mission really is!
Ethan And Delilah Undeniably Became Close, Although He Isn’t The Baby Daddy
Ethan and Delilah undeniably became close, although he isn’t the baby daddy-as he recently admitted to Ava Jerome (Maura West) when they were in the art gallery storeroom.
There was plenty of proof when he wept at the pier, destroying the polaroid photo he had of her, they may have had a romance when she was already pregnant by someone else.
Ethan’s status as an undercover WSB agent was obviously not known to Sidwell, and likely not even Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) and most likely Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) either.
But Ethan definitely wanted to protect Delilah’s baby and would protect her with his life-that’s why he impersonated a PCPD officer and rigged the DNA in Phoebe’s paternity test to show it was him.
Whoever that man was who was responsible for Phoebe, is obviously someone very dangerous-who maybe wouldn’t even flinch at taking down a pregnant mother, or his child she was carrying!
Could Delilah Have Secretly Been WSB As Well?
One question is if Delilah could have been secretly WSB as well-and Ethan’s partner on the investigation, and the subject they were trying to bring in not her baby’s father.
That is also a possibility, but more likely, she was someone he was assigned to protect from the villain, and the villain most likely is Phoebe’s real birth father-or, the birth father could have died.
Perhaps the person after Delilah killed the baby’s father and she escaped, and she could have been a witness to the murder-that makes sense.
Both Ethan and his mother Holly have been involved in cons, and art thefts, and all kinds of things in the past, but Robert just may have tamed her, and Ethan’s last scrape taught him a lesson.
This may have started out as a WSB mission chasing art thieves, but wound up being a failed rescue mission for Ethan!
