General Hospital Spoilers: Z’s Huge Secret – Cassius Survived, In Witness Protection?

General Hospital spoilers and updates reveal Z (John Oliver) has a huge secret that will affect a lot of people in Port Charles.

Might that huge secret be that Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) survived, and Z put him in  witness protection until Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) is tried in court and more securely put away?

WSB Witness Protection May Exist As Well As Regular Federal Witness Protection

Usually people hear about citizens going into witness protection in a federal criminal trial in the United States, since it is a US Federal program, but the WSB may have its own version.

“WSB” stands for “World Security Bureau” and even though it has a history of double agents and corruption going back years, there are still some good guys left.

Z appears to be one of them, but secret agents do have to keep secrets, and in this case, he may not be in town long but he’s trying to clean up the Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) mess.

But it won’t be a totally clean cleanup if he doesn’t do something about Cullum’s partner, Sidwell and the WSB didn’t take over his case-at least not yet, it was the PCPD that arrested him.

For now, Sidwell is arrested for the attempted murder of Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) which, even though it was a setup, Sidwell may not be able to prove it was, although Lucas had on a bulletproof vest.

Sidwell Was Set Up, But Cassius Isn’t There Now To Intervene

Sidwell was set up, but Cassius is no longer there to intervene or change evidence or anything else, because he’s presumed dead-but even if he wasn’t he couldn’t.

Sidwell busted his cover as his late brother Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) to Detective Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) while they were busting Sidwell and Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove).

Joe then put an APB, otherwise known as an All Points Bulletin on both Sidwell and Nathan, as that was what he was officially known by-the name “Cassius” confused Joe too as well.

So, there won’t be a Sidwell-Cullum plant in the Port Charles Police Department to cover up any evidence on Sidwell, and now good guy WSB agents have taken over the Cullum investigation.

But, as they are investigating what all Cullum was doing before he was killed, they’ll likely investigate Sidwell as well, whether that will be jointly with the PCPD is yet to be determined.

Sidwell Would Surely Finish Cassius Off If He Wasn’t Dead Already, And No Official Word From ABC On Ryan Paevey’s Exit

Sidwell would surely finish Cassius off if he wasn’t dead already, and there’s been no official word from ABC on Ryan Paevey’s exit due to his character’s being killed off.

Plus, if you check Ryan Paevey’s IMDB, you’ll see he’s working on a movie-a presumed death while in witness protection until Sidwell’s fully dealt with would work!

And oddly enough-it shows him on General Hospital as only Nathan West for both his stints, and not as both Nathan and Cassius-although that could just be an unintentional omission.

Cassius would have all the details on Sidwell’s dirty deeds, and although he was part and party to quite a few of them, not to mention Cullum’s, he may be able to swing a deal.

He’s got a lot of secrets he can share, if indeed he did survive and Z’s got him in a WSB facility to heal and later testify!
