When it comes to the love lives of this fictional town of Port Charles, anything can happen at any given time. That’s why there are a lot of General Hospital fans that can’t help but wonder this same thing: are Gio (Giovanni) and Trina (Tabyana Ali) getting together soon? Here’s what we know so far.
Are Gio And Trina Getting Together?
While it seems like the writers of the hit ABC soap haven’t given up on Gio and Emma just yet, a lot of eagle-eyed fans have noticed that the handsome young man has been spending more time with Trina in front of the cameras.
If that weren’t enough, new General Hospital spoilers also indicate that in an upcoming scene with Trina, Gio opens up to her and the two of them also bond over their same passions.
It’s almost safe to say that Gio seems to have taken a liking to Trina, but then again, who can blame him, right?
Some fans have even commented on the matter with, “I understand in theory Gio and Trina make more sense they have similar personalities, similar interests and they even have chemistry.
But I don’t understand why the writers decide to pivot from that in the first place and bring Emma on as a love interest for Gio.”
Another critic wrote, “I don’t think that’s happening. Didn’t they already try that when Gio first came to the show? They dropped it. I feel they’re invested in Gio and Emma.”
