General Hospital Fans Left In Shock Over This Casting Decision
There’s heavy speculation suggesting that the character is soon going to be recast and needless to say, fans are certainly not very happy about it.
That’s because at this point, it doesn’t seem like the character’s portrayer, Kirsten Storms, will be returning to the canvas anytime soon. As many of our readers already know, she’s been having a very hard time in her personal life.
Per the latest reports, Kristen’s ex-husband Brandon Barash hit his ex-wife with a restraining order, even though he’s spent the last several years trying to help her get healthy again.
Per the site, Brandon claims that Kirsten has had a very hard time finding stable housing these last few years. She was evicted from her most recent apartment in Tennessee and has spent a lot of time living in hotels or with friends.
In fact, things have been so bad for her that at one point she even gave up custody of their 12-year-old daughter Harper for Brandon just because she had a hard time locking in a place to live.
Is Kirsten Storms Ever Coming Back?
Because of everything that she’s dealing with, there’s heavy speculation suggesting that Kirsten won’t be back on the set of General Hospital anytime soon – or at all. That’s why the producers are already moving forward in finding someone to replace her character.
Sure, it’s a controversial decision but at the same time, the producers of the show know that the show must go on and that they are going to need Maxie Jones back for future storylines. Sure, it won’t be the same without Kirsten, but that’s show business.
