As many of our loyal readers are already aware of, actress Kirsten Storms, who is best known for her role as Maxie Jones on the hit ABC soap, has been dealing with a lot of personal drama.
That’s because her ex, Days of Our Lives alum Brandon Barash, filed a restraining order on her. While no one knows what is really going on behind closed doors, the situation is extreme enough that Brandon feels as though he has to protect his family.
This, despite the fact that he and Kirsten have always had a good relationship as co-parents together.
Well, Maurice decided to insert himself into the drama by giving his fans an update on Kirsten. The actor said that he’s been in contact with Kirsten but also reposted an old episode of his show, State of Mind, with Kirsten in it.

And that’s where a lot of fans couldn’t help but roll their eyes. Because instead of honoring Kirsten’s privacy during this difficult time in her life, he did the opposite. Some critics believe that Maurice takes every opportunity he can to remind people that he has a YouTube series on mental health. Sure, it might be self-promotion but at what cost?
Maurice even captioned the post with, “I rewatched this interview and I forgot how incredible it was.
I remember before @kirstenstorms came in I didn’t really know if she was gonna open up or not. She’s genuinely kind of private.”
“But she talked about everything she was so damn impressive. She could have her own show.”
So far Maurice Benard himself has not made any comments about the matter, although at this point it’s doubtful that anything else will be said.
