General Hospital spoilers for the Thursday, April 9 episode suggest that Brennan will have a revelation, so it sounds like he’ll make a major epiphany about something. Still, what exactly is this about?
Before Brennan’s light bulb moment, it seems like Carly and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) could be part of a rescue mission, which would be a risk as Valentin is a fugitive on the run. It looks like Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will be in a car crash – for whatever reason – and in a twist of fate,
Carly and Valentin will be driving along the same road.
Added teasers for this week imply that Carly will jump into action, so she and Valentin may not think about the risks of getting caught; they might be running on adrenaline to save their friends.
With that said, Valentin could slip away into hiding when the paramedics/police arrive, so none would be the wiser that he was there.
Things Don’t Sit Right With Brennan
Still, if Carly’s rescue of Jordan and Curtis was a two-person job, will Brennan raise an eyebrow when she retells the story? What if it took Carly pulling both Jordan and Curtis out of their car … is this something Carly physically could’ve done in the amount of time she did it, without someone else’s help?
Will Brennan sense she’s lying? Will he call her out on it? Brennan may stay silent as the wheels turn to realize that there has to be a bigger reason why she’s not telling the truth.
After all, why not reveal to the police that she got help, or had an extra hand in Curtis and Jordan’s rescue? Brennan may come to the conclusion that Carly is hiding the fact that someone was with her, and the breadcrumbs could lead to Valentin being stowed in her home.
Mix in the fact that Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) has been spending a lot of time at her Aunt Carly’s house, and Brennan could deduce that his girlfriend isn’t only a liar, but a treasonous one at that.
