General Hospital Spoilers: Will Ric Get Sonny Killed Serving as Jason’s Replacement?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) must find a number two man now that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) confessed to shooting WSB honcho Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes).
In the March 26 episode Sonny talked to his brother Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) about the dire situation and Ric pointed out that Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) being Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) partner makes him a terrible threat.
Jason Did Not Shoot Cullum
Sonny noted that Sidwell will think his organization is compromised without Jason, and he plans to use that perception to his advantage.
The fact that Sidwell doesn’t know Ric is working for Sonny is a bonus he will take advantage of. Sonny then offered Ric the chance to uninvolve himself from this vendetta.
Ric doubled down and made it clear that he will help Sonny.

Sonny and Ric shook hands and we are so looking forward to these two taking on Cullum and Sidwell!
Replacing Jason with Ric is an interesting proposition. Ric is definitely dirty but he’s no murderer. Yet.
In fact, murder would be against his stated goal of becoming a better man for his loved ones. If, say, Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) is threatened, Ric would walk away from Sonny in a hot minute.
So how exactly will he do Sonny’s bidding against two extremely dangerous, deranged men?
Will Sonny lose it all based on this new partnership?

How many times has Jason saved Sonny’s life with a well-aimed shot? As far as we know Ric doesn’t carry–although maybe he should after that basement incident at Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) house!
We know that Brick has no problem with a gun—he saved Sonny’s life when a rogue nurse tried to kill him. So, maybe we will see Screamin’ A. Smith onscreen more—that would be a bonus.
