General Hospital Leak: Britt Westbourne’s New Love Interest Is [Spoiler]

General Hospital spoilers suggest that now that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is officially off canvas, fans have been wondering if he and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will last.

Will she dabble in romance while he’s away from storylines? Well, the rumor mill is buzzing, and it sounds like the good doctor is about to get a new love interest, and he may be the last person people expect.

Britt Goes For A Rival’s Ex?

General Hospital rumors note that there is a chance that Britt could be paired up with her rival, Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins Bruening) ex-husband, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).

This seems crazy on all accounts since the reason Lulu loathes Britt so much is that she stole her embryo and ended up carrying Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) and pawning him off as his own. Dante hasn’t exactly been a fan of Britt’s, as he felt just as betrayed as Lulu, and Dante was fiercely against Rocco spending time with Britt when she first returned.

Dante is pretty straight and narrow, while Britt is all over the place, so this pairing may seem odd and unexpected; however, isn’t love on soaps always a little odd … and a little unexpected? Plus, Britt has changed dramatically over the years since she ‘stole’ Rocco.

Britt’s evolved so much that she had Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) laying it all out on the line to save her from Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota)!

Still, if Dante and Britt became a thing, it would be interesting as Lulu is dating Britt’s brother, Nathan West (Ryan Paevey).

The Rocco Falconeri Factor

Could Rocco be the very thing that brings Britt and Dante together? Now that Jason has been extradited to parts unknown by the WSB, Britt and Rocco could bond even more. The young man had asked his surrogate mom to be his mentor at the hospital; however, as she believed she was heading out of town, she referred him to Lucas.

Would that change now as she’s staying in town? Will Britt find herself more in Dante’s orbit as she spends more time with Rocco?

Then again, Dante may agree to help Britt with her current situation. While Dante was seeking justice by hauling Jason initially into the station this week, he didn’t feel right about how the WSB swooped in and took the henchman.

If Britt confides in Dante about what happened to her and what was going on with her meds, not to mention Cullum’s double-agent status, will the PCPD Chief decide to investigate the matter? Maybe he’s one of many people who will target Cullum and out him as a dirty WSB agent by gathering intel.

With that said, if Dante and Britt hook up … what happens when Jason returns?
