A Missing Baby Would Make An Exciting And Heartrending Mystery
This would undoubtedly enhance the existing mystery and steer the narrative in a fresh direction. When Chase and Brook Lynn initially came to Delilah’s aid, she was alarmed by the idea of them contacting the authorities.
Delilah might have been involved with some unsavory characters and feared their revenge if she brought the police into the situation.
The show has yet to disclose the identity of Delilah’s baby’s father, but he could very well be one of those criminals she dreaded. If that’s true, he wouldn’t want to involve the police and take the necessary actions to secure his baby girl.
The Father May Have Been Able To Track Delilah Down, Knowing She Was Pregnant
On the other hand, this individual might have been aware of the pregnancy and could possess the means to track Delilah down, with either good or bad intentions.
The biological father might have henchmen to search for him and potentially abduct little Phoebe if she is found, especially if they were who she was fleeing.
Even if Phoebe returns home to live with Chase and Brook Lynn, this kidnapping scenario could still unfold, and it would be heartbreaking if Chase and Brook Lynn found the baby missing!
Brook Lynn might take Phoebe for a walk and find herself in shock when she vanishes in a moment of distraction. Ultimately, the mystery surrounding the biological father will need to be unraveled eventually, but the show may choose to complicate it further if he manages to locate Phoebe and pursue her!
