General Hospital Spoilers: Maxie Demands Nathan’s Side of Story, Strikes Back Over Betrayal with Lulu
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will continue to struggle over what happened while she was comatose. It was hard for Maxie to hear how close Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) and Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) became while she was trying to recover off-screen.
Lulu felt she should be the one to break the news to Maxie, but that doesn’t mean Nathan’s going to wiggle out of facing Maxie’s questions.
Since GH spoilers say Maxie will get pushy and demand someone’s side of the story on March 12, it may be Nathan’s turn to land on the hot seat.
It’s true that Maxie moved on from Nathan while she believed he was deceased. Maxie’s grief left her vulnerable to Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and that whole fiasco, but she eventually found safety and happiness with Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson).
However, Nathan supposedly woke up in the hospital with no memory of his seven missing years. For Nathan, no time had passed – at least if we’re going to believe his claims.
That means Nathan should’ve been excited to reconnect with Maxie and raise a family together. This should’ve been the same Nathan who was thrilled about Maxie’s pregnancy with James West (Gary James Fuller) and who looked at her with such love on the day of his “death.”
Instead, Nathan fell for Maxie’s best friend in just a few short months. It was too quick and easy for Nathan to latch onto Lulu while forgetting all about Maxie and the strong connection they previously shared.
However, the fact that Nathan was able to move on from Maxie so fast may be a huge clue about him not being the real deal. Maxie admitted she felt like something was off when she first saw Nathan again, but she assumes that was because of his secret Lulu romance.
In reality, Nathan may have someone else’s memories or be brainwashed in some way. This just doesn’t seem like the real Nathan, so Maxie may see more red flags sooner or later.
Regardless, Maxie may end up confronting Nathan and trying to get to the bottom of how this Lulu thing happened. Nathan may have a hard time explaining things to Maxie if she comes to him looking for the truth.
