General Hospital Spoilers: Peter’s Secret Return And Valentin’s Involvement – What You Need To Know!
General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that according to a possible leak, Peter August (Wes Ramsey) is truly alive and has returned from the dead, just as his two siblings have.
The source also revealed that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) has been aware of Peter’s survival all along; additionally, there might be a doppelganger twist in the mix.
This Is A Possible Leak-Meaning It’s A Rumor
Before we dive into this, I want to make it clear, as I always do, that this is a leak, placing it in the rumor category rather than the spoiler category until ABC or General Hospital confirms it. Nevertheless, the source has a solid track record.
They’ve accurately reported on matters such as who killed Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) leaving, and other things.
We feel assured in passing along this information. Not everything they disclose comes to fruition, but a significant amount does.
Valentin Could Have Played A Crucial Role In Helping Peter Survive
It’s possible that Valentin played a crucial role in helping Peter survive; if you look back at history, you’ll see that Valentin always felt a sense of duty towards Peter.
He regarded him as a son, guided him, and truly cared for him; from the moment of Peter’s birth, Valentin intervened to shield him from Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) as much as he could. This protective instinct stemmed from Valentin’s deep-seated guilt; he was the one who inadvertently revealed Peter’s existence to Faison right after his birth.
If you remember, Valentin initially believed that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) was Peter’s mother. Anna had her own suspicions as well, since it turned out that her malevolent twin sister, Alex Devane Marick (Finola Hughes), was actually Peter’s biological mother.
Anna And Alex Were The First Set Of Twins To Undergo Experimental Memory Transfer
There was a plotline where Anna had some of Alex’s memories implanted in her, which is why she thought she was Peter’s mother. Peter had hoped that Anna was indeed his mom because she treated him with more kindness than his actual mother did.
Valentin has been a part of Peter’s life since his birth and has always been his protector. We believe that Valentin would have done everything in his power to ensure Peter’s survival during that incident and to keep him hidden from those who celebrated his supposed death-including Anna, the woman Valentin loves.
This Is Not Referring To When Anna Hallucinated Peter Below Wyndemere
To clarify, this leak does not pertain to the terrifying moment when Peter showed up while Anna was experiencing hallucinations in that room beneath Wyndemere.
This is an entirely different matter; the leak indicates that Peter has returned in the flesh, very much alive. He was believed to have died on February 23rd, 2022, which means next week marks the four-year anniversary of his supposed death.
Peter passed away in Switzerland after kidnapping Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and preparing to shoot her.
Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) struck Peter with a tire iron, leading to his death shortly thereafter due to the head trauma. Anna did not summon an ambulance or seek medical assistance. Instead, she remained there, watching Peter take his last breaths.
Anna Wanted Peter To Die Because She Knew Maxie And Bailey Lu Wouldn’t Be Safe
Anna essentially wished for his demise because she understood that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and little Bailey Lu Jones (Miley & Riley Plonski) would never be safe as long as he was alive.
At that moment, he appeared genuinely dead; however, consider this: so did Britt and Nathan. There are several warning signs that make us believe this leak is credible.
The most significant warning sign is that Peter’s body was removed from the scene in Switzerland by the WSB. They might have frozen him, revived him, or employed any of the techniques known to the WSB.
The WSB Has A Questionable Past Post Frisco Jones
The WSB has a questionable past post Frisco Jones, (Jack Wagner) filled with dubious activities; consider what Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) is currently up to.
They’ve always had a reputation for being untrustworthy; it really depends on who is leading. Additionally, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) had a close relationship with Peter and maintained significant connections to the WSB, which he previously controlled.
Victor might have managed to acquire Peter’s body, brought him back to life, and hidden him away; at Peter’s demise, Valentin was preoccupied with his own issues after being kidnapped by Victor.
Although Valentin was not present when Peter passed away, it doesn’t imply he is unaware of what transpired with the body.
A Faison Children Resurrection Trifecta-Anna’s Suspicions On Target
Another major concern is that Nathan and Britt have returned from the dead; so why not have a trifecta, that would prove Anna’s suspicions have been on target all along.
The resurrection of all three of Faison’s children raises questions about whether Peter’s return is linked to the theory of two Nathans: one real and one impostor.
This could clarify Britt’s odd and intense reaction upon seeing Nathan alive again-her response didn’t resemble that of a sister joyfully reuniting with her long-lost brother.
Instead, Britt appeared anxious and frightened, particularly when Felicia and Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) chose to introduce James West (Gary James Fuller) to him. It seemed as though Britt harbored doubts about her brother.
What If “Fake Nathan” Is Really Peter?
As for the connection between the Nathan and Peter leaks, another thought struck: what if the “fake Nathan” is actually Peter, who underwent plastic surgery to resemble his brother? This theory holds weight because after Faison eliminated Nathan, we witnessed Peter stepping into Nathan’s role. He was present during James’s birth and became involved with Maxie.
Additionally, Peter harbored jealousy over the affection everyone had for Nathan. Faison was extremely tough on Peter, which contributed to his downward spiral.
Nathan’s Tale About His Father Quizzing Him With Science Flashcards Didn’t Hold Weight
Recently, there was a scene where Nathan mentioned his father quizzing him with science flashcards. This did not match the upbringing Nathan had at all, raising another significant red flag that left many puzzled; neither Mr. Reeves (uncast) nor Faison would have done that.
It’s possible we saw Wes Ramsey return just for that brief flashback with Anna, and now Ryan Paevey might be taking on dual roles. Perhaps he will portray both Peter and Nathan.
We could see flashbacks of the real Peter scheming after his demise, or a scene of Ryan as Peter post-surgery, unveiling Nathan’s face by removing the bandages.
It Makes Sense That Peter Would Impersonate Nathan-But There Could Be Two!
It makes sense that Peter would choose to impersonate Nathan due to his intense infatuation with Maxie. Nathan represented the true love of Maxie’s life, and she confided in Peter that she only chose him because he resembled Nathan closely.
This version of him, who has feelings for Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins), could actually be the genuine Nathan.
However, if there exists another Nathan who is really Peter, he might attempt to switch places with the authentic Nathan to be with Maxie. The concept of Peter returning while resembling Nathan, with Nathan portraying both roles, is intriguing, and definitely be worthy of an Emmy.
