Okay, so General Hospital (GH) fans grow used to Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos) posting photos and reels of his grandkids, TT and Milo. But this weekend, he posted one that seemed so funny that loads of ABC daytime fans posted red hearts. Read on to see some screenshots.
The Car Race Post
On Instagram, Maurice shared a reel about his grandson, Milo. Certainly it’s not the first time, but this one seemed rather more fun than trying to terrify him like he did with The Godfather post.
In it, Milo rode around on his little car. It’s the kind where kids use their legs to navigate. One pup quickly moved out the way. Meanwhile, behind Milo, Maurice Benard climbed into a motorized Thomas the Tank car and set off in chase.
Rather amusingly, the real-life Sonny Corinthos set it to the music of ACDC’s “Highway to Hell.”
In his caption, the beloved grandfather wrote:
I know racing can be dangerous and you should be careful. But sometimes you just gotta be competitive and win the race.
Who Won?
It seemed that Maurice won the race, but along the way, he bumped Milo with his tank. Well, after the race, Milo reversed, and then bumped into Grandpa’s car. Certainly, he seems to be a quick learner.
Maurice Benard is in his sixties, but that’s not holding him back from enjoying fun times with his grandchildren. In fact, he seems to live for the weekends with them. Oh, and his goat, Buddy. For sure, he loves stealing the good times from life.
ABC Fans React
In the comments section, one happy General Hospital fan spoke about how they also have car races with little kids. They wrote, “I adore this❤️. I do the same with mine!!”

Fictional Grandchildren
Actually, toy car racing on GH might not be a bad idea. After all, on the ABC show, Sonny Corinthos has a bunch of fictional grandchildren. Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) and Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) might be a bit old for car races.
But, Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver), Amelia (Sequoia & Serenity Mork Macko), and Daisy Gilmore (adopted by Michael Corinthos) might enjoy it.
