General Hospital spoilers indicate that fans were shocked during the Monday, January 19 episode when Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) collapsed after his ‘loving’ wife, Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) stabbed him with some sort of injection at the close of the show. What happens next?
Drew Cain’s Medical Crisis
General Hospital spoilers for the week of January 19-23 imply that someone in Port Charles is going to suffer a medical crisis, and all arrows are pointing that this is about Drew.
In fact, during the Wednesday, January 21 episode, Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) will deliver some crushing news to someone, so could he tell Willow that Drew has landed into a coma and needs to be sent to a facility outside of PC for the best care possible?
Although, it’s debatable as to whether Willow will see this as “crushing news” since she’s orchestrated the entire thing! Still, while it seems unclear that Drew will exit the canvas entirely via death, even though some fans would love nothing more than to see this, a coma could place him out of storylines for a hiatus.
This would also offer GH writers the opportunity to rewrite the Drew character and a chance to help craft a new, fresh chapter for the character, as he has been written into a corner.
The Scout Quartermaine Factor
How will Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante) feel about her dad, her sole living parent, in a coma? Will Willow allow the child to go to her grandmother, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) more often, or even relinquish custody to the woman? If Drew’s in a coma, there’s not much he can do to stop this!
Either way, the land of Port Charles is bound to change, as Drew lays in a hospital bed, in a long-term coma, so fans will have to wait and see what happens next!
