General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny’s Devious Plan To Frame Sidwell – Will Marco’s Fury Erupt?

He is in need of an alternative suspect, and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) is already causing trouble for Sonny.
Marco Will Become A Significant Threat To Sonny Shortly
However, Sidwell’s son, Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo), is set to become a significant issue for Sonny shortly.

To her credit, Alexis held back and didn’t correct Sonny by saying that Willow is guilty. Additionally, doing so would likely have made Sonny even more furious and difficult to handle.
Sonny Believes If They Present Another Alternate Suspect That It Will Take The Focus Off Michael
Thus, he believes that if they present an alternate suspect to the police, including acting Police Commissioner Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and DA Justine Turner, it will relieve some pressure off Michael. Naturally, Dante would likely welcome an alternate suspect to avoid investigating Michael.
Although Alexis expressed regret to Sonny for putting Michael in a tough spot, she also stated that she must prioritize Scout.
For various reasons, it’s doubtful Alexis will participate in any scheme that Sonny devises. In fact, he should keep this from Alexis and also not inform Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy).
Sonny Wants To Kill Two Birds With One Stone
The main point is that planning a future crime and informing your lawyer is not protected by attorney-client privilege, only past crimes are. So, Sonny is starting to think about how to safeguard Michael.
Honestly, even if Sonny believed that Michael actually shot Drew in the back twice, he would still be looking at the same option: framing someone else to set Michael free. The judge’s body was found in the water at the pier near Wyndermere; additionally, he practically confessed to Marco.
If you remember, Sonny had Brick (Stephen A. Smith) create fake wire information to place in Drew’s safe to blame him and frame him for bribing the judge.
So, there’s already a framing scheme happening involving Sidwell and Drew-besides, Sidwell was heard saying Drew was no longer his best politician to have in his pocket.

Sidwell Warned Jordan About Drew Being Linked To Portia’s Extortion Case
Sidwell has essentially warned Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) that if Drew gets linked to the Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) extortion case, he will no longer be useful to him. Laura is aware of what happens to those who lose their usefulness to Sidwell, as Hank Dalton (Daniel Goddard) ended up dead in her trunk. Both Laura and Sonny understand that Sidwell was responsible for that murder.
