General Hospital spoilers and updates prompt us to consider: Is Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) making a comeback to rescue Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante) from her monstrous father, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison)? With Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) returning after his supposed demise, it’s certainly within the realm of possibility—and let’s not forget, she was a Cassadine!
It’s Plain That Drew Puts Himself Over His Daughter
It’s evident that self-centered Drew prioritizes his own desires over those of his daughter. Scout has been enduring hardship under Drew’s care and urgently needs her caring mother back in her life.
Additionally, we must remember Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn), who is being kept away from his little sister due to Drew’s vendetta against Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).
Drew perceives Danny as a mere extension of Jason, which is why he remains steadfast on Danny’s restraining order. If Sam were still alive, she would put an end to all of this.
Sam Wouldn’t Stand For What’s Been Happening Recently
Sam would never allow Drew to mistreat her children so harshly, and many fans are eager to see her rise from the dead and take control.
The moment seems perfect, especially with Nathan and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) both making dramatic returns. If the GH writers can reverse the unfortunate outcomes for Britt and Nathan, they can certainly bring Sam back as well.
It would be simple to weave Sam into this plot involving Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) final scheme and present her as the latest shocking resurrection.
To be honest, most of Sam’s supporters likely don’t mind the specifics-any storyline that brings Sam back into the fold would be a welcome one!
Alexis Expressed Her Frustrations With Drew, And Had To Help Scout Because Sam Was Gone
In the episode aired on January 14, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) expressed her frustration about Drew, claiming he would distort Scout into a warped version of himself if given the opportunity.
Alexis felt compelled to stand up for Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) and advocate for Scout’s access, fearing that Drew might manipulate her granddaughter against Sam’s family. During her discussion with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), Alexis highlighted that Sam was absent to resolve this issue.
This is why Alexis believes she must take charge, but perhaps Sam could eventually return to mend the situation! It would be wonderful to see Sam come back and put Drew in his rightful place.
Scout Deserves Far Better, And So Does Danny
Scout deserves far better than her egocentric father and her secretive stepmother, especially since Willow is hiding her own guilt. And Danny deserves being in a more normal brother-sister relationship.
