There’s no denying that these two are simply a very hot couple together, yet it also seems like the writers are hesitant to make it happen. In other words, they are too hot to handle.

Of course, we are talking about General Hospital’s Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Valentine Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).
There’s even some speculation suggesting that Valentine can be the first one to make a move on Carly and rescue her before it’s too late.
But at the same time, does Carly even deserve a man like Valentine? After all, she has quite the history when it comes to the way she’s treated all the men in her life from the past, right?
Clearly, the internet had a lot to say about the matter. Some even commented with, “Valentine and Carly have chemistry. With that being said, may they NEVER get together.”
“Carly is awful. She drags men into her ridiculous Sonny/Jason vortex and I will never accept VC being in that hole.”
Another fan of the show wrote, “I don’t want a love affair for Carly and Valentin – but I want some friendly no strings attached sex – and known only by them- then when he comes in and out like he does – it could just be a little fun for the audience to know and nobody else knows!”
What’s Next For Valentine And Carly?
And then there was this comment as well: “Their scenes are heating up for me. The way Valentin looks at her when he’s trying to make a point is hot even if he doesn’t mean for it to be.”
Now, whether or not a Carly and Valentine romance will happen is anyone’s guess at this point, but it’s not stopping fans from holding their breath and crossing their fingers at the same time, right?
