It looks like he’s left an impact on so many lives. Of course, we are talking about former General Hospital star Anthony Geary, who was best known for his role as Luke on the hit ABC soap.
This Former General Hospital Star Has Been Left Absolutely Devastated
Sadly, the actor passed away and has left a lot of people devastated over the loss, including his former General Hospital co-star Brandon Barash. Who even knew that the two of them were so close, right?
Well, Brandon, who also starred on Days of Our Lives, made it clear that Anthony was always a very special person to him, both personally and professionally.
The actor shared a photo of the two of them together near Anthony’s home in Amsterdam. He also shared a heartfelt tribute to the late actor.
Brandon wrote, “How is it that you’ve left this earthly plane so prematurely? (although you wouldn’t think so) The notion that I have no words to adequately convey my pain and emptiness would bring you great joy and even some punches of laughter.”
“The hours upon hours we’d spend on your boat or in your home discussing words — be it our favorite books, me reading your writings out loud, or you reading mine, our favorite curse words in different languages, etc…the irony isn’t lost on me.”

He then continued, “A piece of my heart shattered today. That’s okay, I’ll piece it back together with the most glittery glue I can find. The gaps in between the shards now imbued with memories from one of the most unique and at times whimsical friendships this life has given me.”
Brandon hasn’t made any additional comments about the matter, but there’s no doubt that his heart is in a very fragile place right now. We send our heartfelt condolences to Anthony Geary’s family and friends and of course, co-stars. Port Charles will never be the same, right?
