General Hospital Spoilers: Willow Doesn’t Remember Shooting Drew, Does She Have DID?
General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Willow Tait Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) may not remember shooting Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
It’s possible she’s suffering from dissociative identity disorder, or DID, and doesn’t remember shooting him because an alternate personality did!
Does Willow Have An Alter?
Willow might not recall the moment she shot Drew; General Hospital’s Willow has been on a downward spiral for a while now.
It’s possible that she genuinely did shoot Drew but has no memory of it. One Life to Live viewers will always remember the DID storyline involving Vicki Buchanan/Niki Smith (Erika Slezak).
Willow was raised in a cult-she was beloved by everyone until she betrayed Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) by being unfaithful with Drew.
Willow provided false information to the authorities about her location on the night Drew was shot-it’s conceivable that she has an “alter” responsible for shooting her husband.
One Life To Live Fans Will Remember The DID Plotline
Any fan of One Life to Live will recall the Vicki/Niki plotline-she had Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), which involves having at least two distinct personality states or “alters.” Childhood trauma is believed to be the reason, as depicted in OLTL; now we have Willow, who certainly experienced trauma from being raised in a cult.
When she first came to Port Charles, she was sweet and innocent, and everyone adored her-although she may have cheated on Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), that was overlooked.
The heroine became a mother to Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver), fell in love with Michael, and bravely fought cancer while pregnant-she was amazing until she changed.
Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) entered the scene and influenced her to cheat on her husband and make terrible choices about her children-or did he-is there another version of Willow taking control?
Drew Destroyed Willow’s Life-She Finally Realized It
Drew destroyed Willow’s life-although it took her a while to come to terms with it, she has finally acknowledged the truth.
This epiphany, along with her cult-like history, might have shattered her; similar to Vicki, Willow might have unconsciously developed a new persona, and it was that side of her that shot Drew.
Drew’s new spouse deceived the authorities about her location on the night of the shooting.
She was spotted driving close to his residence, a detail she conveniently left out of her account-when confronted, she insisted that she never entered the house.
Willow might not recall entering the home or shooting her husband because it could have been her alter ego who did it, which explains her persistent claims of innocence.
