Kelly Monaco Devastated Over Anthony Geary’s Death
Clearly, we are talking about General Hospital’s Kelly Monaco and Anthony Geary. It was just reported that the actor, who was best known for his role as Luke, on the hit ABC soap, had died over the weekend. The entire daytime television industry is mourning the loss of a truly great actor.
Per Deadline, Anthony died in Amsterdam, which is where he has been living these past several years with his partner. In fact, Kelly Monaco had actually visited Anthony in Amsterdam back in 2023 and posted a photo on her Instagram page, which is something she rarely does.
And while other General Hospital stars like Genie Francis have said that she feels absolutely devastated over Anthony’s death, those close to Kelly know that she feels exactly the same way.
In fact, this death is hitting her harder than anyone else. Kelly Monaco has had a very difficult time these last few years. Back in 2023, both her co-stars Billy Miller and Christopher Tyler had died within a month of each other.
During the summer of 2024, it was announced that Kelly was being forced out the door at General Hospital. To this day, no one knows why Kelly had gotten fired and why she received the treatment she did from the producers of the show. Her character, Sam McCall, ended up dying on screen.
