General Hospital Spoilers: Curtis Lied To Jordan About Stopping Selena’s Hit?

ont-back-down-valentin-on-the-loose-lucas-snaps-at-marco/ pose a question tied to a mystery-did Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) lie to Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) about stopping Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look) hit?
There were several clues in that scene that seemed to hint that he did indeed lie to Jordan, even though it looks like the Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) shooting was rather unprofessional!
Clue Number One: His Calling Off The Hit And Recalling The Wire Weren’t Shown In A Flashback
Clue number one is the fact that while his hiring Selina and making the deal were shown in a flashback, his calling off the hit and recalling the wire payment weren’t.
If the show revealed his setting up the hit on Drew via flashbacks, why didn’t they reveal his stopping the hit via flashbacks as well? However, that doesn’t mean that the hitman or hitwoman actually attempted to make the hit-if they’d succeeded, Drew would have been dead.
More than likely, if the assassin Selina sent to kill Drew got anywhere near his house at all, it may have been after whoever shot him twice had been there.
It could have been possibly when the police were there, or they saw too many potential witnesses, such as Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) or Michael Corinthos, (Rory Gibson).

Clue Number Two: Curtis’ Looks And Body Language After He Confessed To Jordan At First
Clue number two is Curtis’ looks and body language after he confessed to Jordan at first-she was appalled over Curtis’ confession and was worried about being an accomplice!
It was after that conversation that he “confessed” to Jordan that he had gone back to the Savoy and called off the hit and recalled the wire transfer.
He said it had to be done on the same network as it had originally been sent through. He also said he changed his mind because of the baby Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) is carrying, assuming it’s his, and that he didn’t want murder on his conscience.
We also must note after Jordan breathed a sigh of relief, and he embraced her, the look on his face and his body language seemed to be rather cold and resigned.
Clue Number Three: Curtis Seemed Resigned To His Lie, Needing To Placate Jordan
Getting back to that cold, somewhat angry and resigned look in his eyes as he embraced his ex-wife, it seemed like he really hadn’t wanted to lie. But he had to in order to placate her, and keep her from possibly doing the right thing and ratting him out to the police!
After all, Jordan was both a drug enforcement administration (DEA) agent and the police commissioner in Port Charles, ahead of when Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) took the position.
Curtis needed to make sure that he had Jordan on his side and as someone who could vouch for him for when he returned with legal counsel. Because the only reason Detective Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) let him leave was because he promised to return with a lawyer!
