General Hospital Spoilers: Jason & Britt’s Romance Fails — Is Britt an Imposter Like Nathan?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that fans are not gung-ho over this iteration of JaBritt. Instead of falling madly into each other’s arms, proclaiming their undying love, and sleeping together immediately (this is routine on daytime) they are treating each other like toxic waste.
After killing a man and dumping his body, even Joss Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) knew what to do next—hit the sheets. So there’s no excuse for this Cold War between two extremely hot General Hospital hotties. Let’s delve deeper into this conundrum.
What is Wrong With JaBritt?
So, Britt didn’t die from Heather Webber’s (Ally Mills) poison hook. Fast forward and Jason saves her from her hostage crisis in Croatia. You’d think this dynamite situation would release all their rizz. Instead, crickets.
Britt’s Return Falls Flat
It’s even arguable as to whether or not JaBritt even have chemistry anymore. Their interactions are awkward; even the sight of Britt in a towel seemingly does nothing for red-blooded he-man Jason. Huh?
Maybe keeping a big lie about them saving Joss in Croatia has them on permafrost? Whatever it is, Britt’s return also made her own mad. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) slapped her and refuses to speak to her.
MAYBE instead of us focusing on Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) being an imposter, we should consider that Britt is not who she appears to be?
Is Britt an Imposter?
This would explain her reluctance to even kiss Stone Cold. Is she afraid that her fake lips would give her impersonation status away?
JaBritt fans were thrilled when it was announced that Thiebaud would return to GH. They imagined tense chemistry and fraught emotions between the former couple and all we’ve gotten so far is a used dish rag.
This couple once had IT. They were relationship goals and the thought of Jason further evolving in life with a committed relationship to someone he loves had us looking forward to a new chapter in Jason’s life.
We get that Britt is hurt and that Jason respects her boundaries. But still, a longing look, or sharp word spoken in frustration would go a long way toward animating these scenes.
