General Hospital Spoilers: Has Sonny Fallen From Power – Or Is He the Worst Crime Boss Yet?

Someone clearly didn’t understand the assignment. General Hospital fans believe that by now, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) could have done something about one of the biggest villains that Port Charles has seen in a long time.

In other words, he definitely could have taken out Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison), but that clearly hasn’t happened. This has prompted a lot of fans to ask this same question: what is taking him so long?

Of course, General Hospital fans on the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter.

Some even commented with, “Sonny is the worst mob boss. Drew should’ve been taken out months ago. Now would be perfect to have someone slip in and inject him with something or smother him with a pillow.”

“Honestly, I don’t know why other crime families are scared of Sonny.”

Another critic of the show wrote, “Sonny is the worst crime lord ever, true. But killing Drew would hurt Scout, so not the right choice. But maybe he could do SOMETHING criminal-ish to intimidate Drew into knocking it off. But, again, the worst crime lord ever.”

What’s Taking Sonny So Long To Do The Job?

And then there was this comment as well: “If Sonny kills Drew then what does anyone tell Scout? Oh ye, I impregnated your Mom, that child died in childbirth but saved your Aunt Kristina – in the process I broke your mom’s heart – and then years later I killed your Dad?”

Then again, If Drew were taken out, Sonny and Michael would be the only suspects. The police probably would even bother investigating anyone else. And we know no one who kills people in the hospital ever gets caught, right?

For now, fans will simply have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next. General Hospital airs weekdays on the ABC network. Check your local listings for times.
