General Hospital Spoilers suggest that the evil Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is not Scout Cain’s (Cosette Abinante) father. Drew was pretending to be Jason at the time of Scout’s conception.
Sam McCall (ex-Kelly Monaco) was stunned to find out that she was even pregnant at the time. Could this be because Drew isn’t Scout’s father?
Drew Cain Was Not Himself
Drew Cain Was Controlled By Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) at the time and we all know how the Cassadines love to mess with their captives and children, just look at Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) and her daughter.
Could something similar have happened with Sam and her daughter? Is Scout Jason’s daughter instead of Drew’s?
Helena is Sam’s step grandmother. Helena never liked Sam because she was Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) child, the product of her husband’s affair.
If Drew was willingly working with Helena willingly, they may had passed off Jason’s child as Drew’s. Perhaps Drew could not father kids, but wanted the same connection to Sam as Jason had with a child.
Drew Cain Is Just Now Showing His Evil Side
Drew’s evil side is just now coming out. However, a person doesn’t turn evil overnight. Drew has shown time and again how jealous he is of Jason.
Drew even threatened Jason for simply holding Scout when Sam asked him to years ago. Could Drew have been afraid that Jason would figure out the truth if he spent too much time with her?
Drew undoubtedly rivaled in keeping Jason away as much as he could. Drew knew what kind of connection Sam and Jason had.
However, Drew made it like he wanted nothing to do with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his business. However, Drew got mad at Sonny when Sonny chose Jason over him.
Drew Cain Is Determined To Take Scout Cain Away
Drew is determined to keep Scout away from Danny, that brother who even helped to name her. Drew moved out of the Quartermaine mansion because Jason was there.
Drew’s hatred for Jason is very obvious to everyone around them. Is Drew protecting his child or keeping Jason from the little girl he and Sam always wanted?
Jason may decide that he needs to find out that truth so Scout can stay with her brother, just as Sam wanted. Of course, the DNA test would say Jason is the father because he and Drew are identical twins.
However, more developed tests can tell the difference. Will Jason discover that he is Scout’s true father and bring her home where he belongs? Will the extent of Drew’s manipulation be exposed freeing Scout to come home.

I have always said scout belongs to Sam an Jason not Drew. yes I believe that Drew is hiding that fact.. ended up being one of Helene games!!! send in the memory loss twin so people think it Jason. everyone believes scout is Drew kid not me… another Helen tricks.
This was discussed on another article a few weeks ago and many people said Jason couldn’t be Scout’s papa because he was somewhere else. Of course soaps can always revise history, so maybe. But are Jason and Drew identical twins or fraternal? They don’t look like identical to me.
They don’t look identical because Drew had to have extensive plastic surgery after Ava accidentally hit him with her car.

I have never believed Scout was Drew’s child. I have also felt Drew wanted Jason’s life. Who can say Sam/Jason did not have an off screen hookup no one knew about and Sam became pregnant. Drew’s whole introduction to canvas has been a complete mystery as far as I am concerned. I didn’t go for t he long lost brother either. If Jason did have a brother, I do not believe they were identical twins, although that is what viewers were led to believe. When it comes to Scout, I do feel a blood test would reveal Scout is Jason’s bio child and possibly that Drew/Jason are not related (Cassidine manipulations).
There is absolutely NOTHING that I want more than for it to come out that Scout is actually the child of Jason and Sam for so many reasons. The fact that Drew is a disgusting SOB is only a tiny part of why I want him to not be her father.
Jason and Sam desperately wanting a little girl makes it infuriating that Scout is Drew’s. There is also the fact that Sam told Jason about her fantasy of them having a son named Danial Edward and a daughter named Emily when she told him about her fantasy of what their life would have been like if Danny had survived when they still thought he had died at birth. I also hate the fact that Scout being Drew’s makes Danny her half brother. That was not the way Sam & Jason’s story was supposed to be. Their children were supposed to be one of the few sets of FULL siblings on the show.
All that said, their are some issues and just all out falsehoods that the author of this article made.
The first one is that we KNOW that Drew can father children because he had another child…Oscar, so there’s that. The other is that Drew moved out Q mansion because Jason was there. That is also categorically incorrect. Drew didn’t move out of the mansion by choice. He was kicked out by Monica when his affair with Willow was revealed.
Is it possible that Helena somehow manipulated the situation so that Jason not Drew is actually Scout’s father? It absolutely is and I seriously hope it turns out that she did. I would love nothing more than to see Jason rescue Scout and bring her home to the mansion, her brothers, even Dante and everyone else who truly loves her and doesn’t just see her as a weapon to be used to inflict pain on other people and I would imagine that wherever Sam is that’s exactly what she wants too.
