Maurice Benard Weighs In On Differences Between Grandkids

Maurice Benard, (Sonny Corinthos) might be a tough crime boss on General Hospital, but in real life, he’s a real softie. This week, he shared another cute reel of a little kid in his family and he weighed in on the differences between grandchildren.

Many GH fans follow the real-life Sonny Corinthos on his social media. And, not just for his State of Mind podcast about mental health. They love it when he shares his family activities. In recent months, he posted about his granddaughter, Tiana, AKA “TT,” dancing in her knee-high pink boots.

He’s also shared about how he and the little girl saved a baby bird once that they hoped would recover. Fans like seeing the softer side to the ABC star. He does have a grandson named Milo, as well, and he can’t help but notice how the kids play differently.

The Differences

It might seem obvious to some folks that boys and girls might play differently. Mind you, it can be a touchy subject these days because some folks might see it as gender stereotyping. Well, they didn’t seem offended as he watched the little boy play.

In his reel on Instagram, he showed a lot of dirt. Musing as he watched, Maurice Benard said, “Some boys and girls are so different when they play. You just gotta love it.” He also posted up three rainbow emojis.

Kids visit and play and Maurice noticed that the male child loves to “get dirty.” The dust didn’t seem to worry him at all, so grandpa told him to “carry on doing it.”
