General Hospital Spoilers: Trina Learns Of Boyfriend’s Betrayal-Is It Bye Bye Kai?
General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will eventually learn of her boyfriend’s betrayal-Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) blabbed to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
He told Drew that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) was tracking down Jacinda (Paige Herschell) and going to pay her to testify Drew took that ketamine on his own!
If There’s One Thing Trina Can’t Stand, It’s A Lying Liar Who Lies!
Like her best friend Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) mother, Carly Spencer, (Laura Wright), there’s one thing Trina can’t stand-a lying liar who lies!
Kai had given Trina his word that he wouldn’t tell Drew what he and Trina knew, which he’d accidentally overheard. Trina has been very concerned over Drew manipulating Kai like he does everyone else, but it seems Kai may feel a little beholden to Drew.
Drew found the surgeon and paid for the risky procedure that did fix Kai, but not enough to play football. And then offered him a position as a congressional intern, but he didn’t have to move to DC-for that, Trina was grateful; but still worried that Kai trusts Drew!
Where Does Kai’s Loyalty Really Lie?
The big question is, where does Kai’s loyalty really lie-does it lie with Trina, or does it lie with Drew; it would seem that it lies with Drew. And it may be because of that beholden feeling-the that idea he owes Drew something for what he did.
Kai may feel he owes Drew because of his paying for the operation that gave him hope, and now for giving him a new career path. Kai was devastated and feeling lost when he found out that he still couldn’t play football after the operation, which was risky to begin with and had a high error rate.
Football, and the prospect of playing for the pro leagues was well within Kai’s grasp before the tackle that changed his life and ended his football career.
Betrayal And Love Are Strange Bedfellows
Betrayal and love are strange bedfellows, and as far as Trina’s concerned-and Curtis too, for that matter-they can simply not co-exist. You can’t continue to have a relationship even as a friend, with someone who you can’t trust-and when the news circles back that Curtis’ plan is toast, Trina knows why.
The only rogue person who knew the information and could have warned Drew is Kai-and as for Jacinda, she’s disappeared somewhere in Australia, said to have disappeared in the outback.
She’s listed as a missing person now according to Australian authorities, the last time she was seen was when Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) tracked her down in Melbourne.
Trina is heartbroken, but not as hurt as she is angry and betrayed-and it’s bye bye Kai, she can’t be with someone untrustworthy!
