General Hospital: Rory Gibson Opens Up About Michael’s New Beginning & Love Life
General Hospital (GH) spoilers show that Rory Gibson has slid like a boss into the role of legacy character Michael Corinthos. Has the recast caused waves? Not that we can see. Gibson has taken over from Chad Duell with ease and it helps that his current plot is full of dynamite.
It also helps that fans are familiar with the daytime vet (ex Noah Newman, The Young and the Restless).

Rory Gibson Takes Over as Michael
Michael sashayed back to PC a new man after nearly dying in an explosion. Now he’s under fire in the courtroom, fighting for custody of his kids. In the June 4 episode he was stunned when his one-nighter with Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) was outed.
At that point everyone forgot about his fight with Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and focused on the fact that he is Sasha’s baby daddy.
Gibson has struck the right tone since his arrival and he talked about Michael’s evolution: “He’s gone through so much, and I’m almost looking at the explosion as a rebirth type of situation …”

People are definitely seeing the character in a different light now that the baby secret is out. It happened during the custody hearing over Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and Amelia Corinthos (Sequoia and Serenity Mork Macko) and we see the situation play out this week.
Gibson thinks that part of Michael must have been relieved to have the secret blown up, saying “Honestly, he’d probably be with Sasha, and he’d be wanting to raise this baby with her.”
Does this mean that Masha can now be a couple and raise their baby together?
Where do Michael and Sasha Go Now?
The couple are now free to go about their business, with Michael now the father of three kids with three different women. At the end of the dramatic episode Sasha went into labor and Willow of all people will help deliver the baby.
