General Hospital Kate Mansi (Kristina Corinthos-Davis) Ties The Knot In Wedding Surprise
General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate that the land of Port Charles is a tight-knit community, and so are the co-stars backstage! In many ways, the actors and actresses that make up the cast are like each other’s second family – they likely spend more time with them than their real family!
Now, in some feel-good GH news, it turns out that Kate Mansi (Kristina Corinthos-Davis) tied the knot in a surprise wedding, and Kristina’s new onscreen nephew, Mansi’s colleague, Giovanni Mazza (Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri), shared the news on social media.
Kate Mansi’s Road to Her Happily Ever After
Mansi’s boyfriend evolved into official fiancé status on July 3, 2024, when he proposed and she said, ‘yes!’ The two were slated to get married this July, and earlier in May, Mansi uploaded pics of her and McInnis, creating a video on Instagram stating, “Is it July yet? Can’t wait to marry you…”
The good news is that it sounds as if Kate was able to marry Mr. Right earlier than expected, and the even more fun news is that her GH co-star, Mazza, shared some fun details regarding Mansi’s ‘surprise wedding’, recently.
Giovanni Mazza’s IG Story
Mazza recently shared an IG story of a video with the caption, ‘Happy! Surprise! Wedding!, tagging both Mansi and McInnis, referring to the couple as “The dynamic duo! So much joy and love🫶🏻🫶🏻🥳🥳.” It’s important to note that neither Mansi nor McInnis has yet to confirm their ‘surprise’ nuptials, so only time will tell.
It’s clear that Giovanni was either invited to the big event or was filled in somehow by Mansi, so it’s nice to know this aunt-nephew twosome is close behind the scenes, too.
As of this writing, Gio just learned about his Corinthos roots, and while Kristina and Gio are acquaintances on the canvas, once they learn they are bonded by blood, the two are bound to get closer. Hey, maybe Gio will move in with his grandpa, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), to get away from the Quartermaines!?
