General Hospital Spoilers: Dante’s PTSD Has Returned- Gio Reveal Pushes Him Over The Edge
General Hospital spoilers indicate that something has been off with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zampronga) lately. Dante’s reaction to his son, Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr)’s recent plight definitely wasn’t unnoticed, and Dante has seemed to reverted back to old personality traits.
Perhaps there is a reason for this. We know that several years ago, Dante suffered from PTSD as a result doing terrible things while working undercover away from Port Charles.
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) got him into a WSB facility to help him with his PTSD, but he was never cured. As a result of the trauma of his son almost dying, Dante’s PTSD could have returned, and he is starting to spiral out of control.
Dante Falconeri’s Recent Behavior Is Troubling
Dante lashed out at Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza), claiming that he was not doing enough to help Rocco, who overdrank at the PCU Bonfire.
Dante’s beratement was way too much, and poor Gio did not deserve that. Dante’s attitude towards Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) was even more troubling, as he has loved and raised him like a son for the past several years, and served as surrogate father to him while was in a relationship with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco).
He threatened to have Danny charged with manslaughter. Dante is blaming everyone for Rocco’s predicament and although his anger is deeply rooted in the fear of almost losing his child, it does not excuse his behavior.
He has also recently been on good terms with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), and now all of a sudden, he blames Jason for what happened to Rocco, on his poor parenting.
Dante Falonceri’s PTSD Has Returned
In light of his recent behavior, it could be because Dante’s PTSD has come back to the surface. The shock of almost losing his son caused this shift in him, and no one has really taken notice yet simply because they believe that Dante was just scared.
While Dante has seemed to calm down a little bit, he still makes comments and remarks that make one second guess that. Dante is in for another surprise soon that could make matters concerning his PTSD even worse.
Gio Palmieri’s Is Dante’s Biological Son
Dante is still unaware that Gio is his son with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton). The shock of this could cause Dante to have another episode of blaming everyone for keeping the secret about Gio from him.
This would not help if his PTSD has returned, and would only make matters much worse. Dante and Gio may have to mend fences due to how awful Dante has treated him.

Dante Falconeri’s PTSD Gets Worse And Many Are Concerned
If his PTSD has returned, it could only worsen when he learns the truth about Gio being his son, and Dante would need to seek help.
He would have to go into counseling, or go to the facility that Anna recommended years ago. Many would be concerned about Dante’s mental health, and urge him to seek treatment.
Dante could spiral out of control, and put people in harm’s way if not careful. Dante pulling a gun on someone in his life is not out of the realm of possibility.
At that point, there would be no turning back and Dante would need to get help. Dante’s PTSD could be addressed if he continues to act in such an out of character manner.
