General Hospital’s Braedyn Bruner Hints Emma’s Retaliation Against Josslyn Is Coming

General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Emma Scorpio-Drake saw red this week when she was first passed up for Professor Henry “Hank” Dalton’s (Daniel Goddard) research assistant role and then found out Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) snagged the job.

Emma also quickly put two-and-two together during the Tuesday, May 13 episode that Joss may have compromised her thumb drive, so what will Emma do to retaliate? Her character’s portrayer, Braedyn Bruner, chimes in, to Soap Opera Digest (SOD).

Emma Scorpio-Drake Is Outraged

The saddest part of all this is that Joss and Emma had a childhood rivalry that was slowly diminishing. Emma confided in Joss recently that the reason she wanted the research position was because she believes Dalton is illegally testing animals in his research.

Bruner tells SOD that this mission for Emma is justice, and to bring Dalton down and put an end to what he’s doing. Unfortunately, Joss is on a mission of her own for the WSB. As Bruner points out, Emma is unaware of Joss’s true motives.

Still, Bruner notes that Emma doesn’t let her guard down easily, so the fact that she confided in Joss, and her ‘friend’ seemingly used her, will not sit well with Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) granddaughter. She will not let this go.

Emma Looks To Gain The Upper Hand

Bruner states that Emma is down but not out. The actress reveals that very soon, Emma will come up with a way to regain the upper hand from Josslyn to continue with her mission to seek justice on Dalton.

Bruner states that Emma is smart and, “… picks up on every detail and she’s always thinking 10 steps ahead of everyone.”

Bruner hints that she may observe something that she can use to her advantage. As Emma wants that research position, she’ll do whatever it takes to accomplish this goal.

With that said, Bruner does reveal that Emma has boundaries and lines she won’t cross; however, there are also things she’s willing to do to secure Dalton’s research assistant position – and she’ll be more than willing to do them.
