General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest there are never any coincidences in the land of Port Charles, which makes Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and Drew Quartermaine’s (Cameron Mathison) recent interaction, interesting.
As Drew once paid Cody off for his silence, will he continue this tradition in the weeks to come?
Cody Bell’s Gambling May Pay Off
Cody’s not in the best place right now, as he continues to spiral into some old, terrible habits. It seems as if he’s still struggling with the news that he and Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) are cousins and can’t pursue a relationship.
Cody was walking the straight and narrow while he was with Sasha, and now that he and Sasha are no longer a thing, he seems to be going back to gambling.
As Cody’s holy grail is the Serenity Mansion, he may believe gambling is a means to an end in acheiving this dream. Still, in doing this, he’s been interacting with Selina Wu (Lydia Look), which is overall a bad life choice.
However, during the Tuesday, February 4 episode, his working relationship with Wu had him running into Drew at her office. A governor, conversing at a mob queen’s office is not a good look. Will Cody try to capitalize on this?
Cody’s Disdain For Drew
Like many within the land of Port Charles, Cody can’t stand Drew. The governor is certainly racking up the enemies as of late! So, would Cody blackmail Drew over his friendliness toward Wu?
Cody is spiraling, but he’s not a terrible person. While Drew’s money may help him inch closer to Serenity, Bell might be far too disgusted with Drew’s behavior to even want his money at this point.
What if he finds out that Drew spilled about Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) being the father of Sasha’s baby? Sasha was outraged to hear Drew utter those words in front of everyone at the Metro Court restaurant, while she was having lunch with her Aunt Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner).
If Cody finds out about the low move by Drew, he may be prompted to blackmail him once again, out of the pure satisfaction to watch the slimeball squirm.
