General Hospital Spoilers: No Baby, No Romance – Is This The Beginning Of The End For Brook Lynn & Chase?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that Brook Lynn Quartermaine-Chase (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) got some terrible news this week. Chase found out he’s sterile and can’t father any children.
He relayed this message to his wife shortly after finding out himself. While he encouraged BLQ that they should move forward with IVF, so she could become a mom, fans can’t help but feel as if this will cause major problems for the popular Port Charles super couple.
GH Spoilers: Chase Being Sterile Will Take A Toll
GH spoilers note that during the Wednesday, January 29 show, Brook Lynn broke down and told her mom, Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) the news. At one point, she even questioned if she wanted to have a baby at this point if Chase wasn’t the biological father.
This obstacle will undeniably have an impact on BLQ and Chase’s marriage. Brook Lynn likely won’t hold anything against Chase, after all, it’s not his fault, but the guilt Chase has over the idea that his wife can’t be a mom because he is sterile may not only eat away at him but their marriage, too.
GH Spoilers: Brook Lynn’s Teen Pregnancy Could Cause Further Damage
BLQ seemed open to telling Chase about her teen pregnancy, in light of the recent news. She mentioned doing so when talking to Lois, but is this a good idea? Will he resent that she wasn’t honest before?
Then again, if Brook Lynn doesn’t come clean right away, and Chase continues to lament about his issue being “the issue” in the couple not having kids, once he does find out about his wife’s previous pregnancy, he could explode.
His guilt around being the reason they can’t have kids may turn to anger that Brook Lynn wasn’t honest; a massive problem the two had early on in their relationship.
