Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) has left. He has told Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) that he will not take over the business, but can only step in temporarily.
He does not want Danny to go through losing his father. Since Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) has recently been severely burned in the explosion at Sonny’s penthouse, it has only fueled Jason’s fire so to speak in getting out of the mob.
General Hospital Spoilers: Jason Morgan Feels Responsible and Will Leave the Mob
In a heartfelt flashback, Jason, holding Michael as a baby, promises to always protect him. Jason feels guilty and believes that he broke his promise.
Even though it is not his fault that Michael was severely burned in the explosion, Jason feels an incredible amount of guilt and will force him to rethink his decisions even more.
Although Jason is Michael’s uncle, he loves him like a son, and has been there for him, and tried to protect him from danger since he was born.
Jason has shown a great amount of growth since he came back to the canvas. Although we never thought it would happen, Jason has had second thoughts about his dangerous lifestyle and is ready to make some changes.
GH Spoilers: Jason Morgan and Damian Spinelli Will Start their Own P.I. Business
Once Jason can finally free himself from the mob, he is likely to start a private detective business with his good friend, Spinelli (Bradford Anderson).
With Spinelli’s computer hacking skills, and Jason’s innate abilities acquired from working with Sonny all these years, the two would be a perfect match for detective work. Jason also has the resources to take this job on, given that he is a Quartermaine.
General Hospital Spoilers: Jason Morgan Goes Back to Being A Quartermaine
Jason has been living as Jason Morgan for almost 30 years now. Wouldn’t it be a crazy twist, if Jason took the Quartermaine name back after he finally exits the mob.
With the recent death of actress Leslie Charleson, who played the character of Monica Quartermaine, Jason’s mother will most likely be memorialized soon.
Jason would feel the best way to honor his mother would be to take back the last name that she never wanted him to give up. Jason will probably never remember his life before his car accident with his brother, the late A.J. Quartermaine, but it would be a fun twist.
GH Spoilers: Jason Morgan Will Inherit the Quartermaine Mansion
General Hospital spoilers hinted that of all of Monica’s relatives, Jason is one of the ones that Monica holds most dear. Jason is the most likely heir to the Quartermaine mansion.
You can just hear Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) saying to Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), “It’s Monica’s house, Alan gave it to her, and she gave it to Jason.”
Jason taking over the Quartermaine mansion would be a perfect full circle moment for the show, and an added bonus is that it would drive Tracy up the wall.
