General Hospital Spoilers: Nina And Martin’s Dirty Custody Plan While Michael Lays Dying

General Hospital spoilers tease that everything changed in an instant for Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). One minute he was visiting Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) in Sonny’s penthouse, the next a firebomb apparently ripped through Sonny’s home engulfing Michael in flames.

Michael was quickly taken to General Hospital, but his ultimate fate remains unknown at this time. Meanwhile, Michael’s estranged wife, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), was in Washington DC making love to Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison).

General Hospital Spoilers – Michael Corinthos may not survive

Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) was told to leave the operating room because he’s related to Michael, but he was there long enough to provide updates to the rest of Michael’s family.

With Isaiah Gannon (Sawindi Wilson) now working to save him, Lucas reported that Michael sustained third degree burns on over forty percent of his body.

Michael’s survival is still very much touch and go at this point. In addition, there’s always a chance Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) will make Michael his next target. Cyrus’ motivations still remain unclear, so Michael might be a target as well.

GH Spoilers – Nina Reeves takes action!

Michael and Willow have recently filed for a legal separation due to her affair with Drew. Michael filed for sole custody just before he was injured.

Willow’s mother, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will realize that she has now to make sure that Willow retains custody of their children, especially if Michael doesn’t survive.

So, look for her to contact Martin Grey (Michael E Knight) for an emergency brainstorming session. Even though Michael filed for sole custody, a decision hasn’t been made since a court date hasn’t even been set.

It would be clear to a court of law that Michael’s association with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) poses a danger to those around him, at least more than being with Willow would.

Perhaps Martin will obtain a copy of Michael’s will, which would certainly give custody of his children to his wife. Willow would be the surviving parent anyway if Michael does pass away, but Martin and Nina will want to make sure that Willow gets custody of the children and not either the Quartermaine family or the Corinthos’.

What will happen?

Will Michael survive the firebombing? Will Nina and Martin scramble to make sure that Willow gets custody of the children? Will anyone try to stop Willow from taking her own children?
