General Hospital Spoilers: Lois’ Church Confession – Finally Confirms Gio’s Grandson – Who Else Overhears?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that fans have put two-and-two together regarding Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) and are now just awaiting confirmation.
He’s clearly the long-lost son of Brook Lynn Quartermaine-Chase (Amanda Setton) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), the result of a camp fling when they were teenagers, but when and how will the truth come out?
GH Spoilers: Will Lois Cerullo Spill The Beans?
GH spoilers note BLQ is hiding her first pregnancy from Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) for whatever reason. She likely hasn’t lied this whole time out of spite, but maybe she believes the baby died, or the entire situation was traumatizing for her, so she decided to bury the secret. Reliving it all could trigger some PTSD. It seems out of character, at this point, for Brook Lynn to lie, so there has to be a bigger reason behind it.
With that said, BLQ has no idea Gio is hers, but it’s clear that Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) is in on it. She’s usually the first one to spill a secret, so kudos to Lois for keeping this one under wraps for decades … how will it come out?
GH Spoilers: Lois Cerullo Heads For Yearly Confession
Lois has to be dealing with some guilt by keeping the truth about Gio from BLQ and Dante, not to mention Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and the rest of the people in Port Charles who would welcome the young man with open arms.
The holidays are a special time, and Christmas is an important day for many Christians, including Catholics. Could Lois decide to head to church for a confession?
She may talk to a priest to get things off her chest, but will someone else be behind the confessional booth who isn’t a clergyman? Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) comes to mind, but Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) could be another villain who fakes it all for his own interests, or perhaps Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) gains access to this information. Then again – maybe it’s Chase.
Either way, a church confessional might be the way the show confirms the Gio secret and moves this storyline along.
